How to check if BSNL evdo will give me speeds at my place before i purchase it? Posted: 15 Feb 2014 12:41 PM PST I am from ahmedabad, Vatva. I was using local SpidiGo internet from past 2 years. a month back my spidigo guys told me that there is some problem with their local AP and hence i will be refunded my money. I applied for tikona internet provider, the guy from tikona did show up today but told me that connection at my place is not possible since he can not get a LOS to his AP. |

Posted: 15 Feb 2014 11:45 AM PST I wonder why there is no thread for this yet!
The show is doing wonderfully well. I personally love it. It's different, no cheap comedy and pure entertainment.
TRP wise it's doing extremely well. Currently at the top in it's category (even above the likes of KBC, Jhalak Dikhla Ja, etc.) and overall 3rd. BTW you can watch the full episodes, trailers, etc. here - http://www.youtube.com/user/colorstv/search?query=comedy+nights Believe me, this show is amazing. You gotta watch this if you don't. |

Posted: 15 Feb 2014 10:39 AM PST http://www.engadget.com/2013/06/08/windows-phone-notifications/ You know how it goes, you buy a phone on eBay, and it comes with a developer / pre-release version of a major mobile OS. Well, if these images are to be believed, that's at least what happened to one bargain-hunting Windows Phone fan. The screenshots -- said to be taken from a Nokia 920 -- show Windows Phone 8, but with a few new tweaks and features. Most notable, will likely be the notifications, but other tidbits include App list ordering based on frequency of use, week view in the calendar and the option to kill apps from the multitask screen. The phone reports a build number of: 12084.WPMAIN(wpbldlab).20130509-1407 leading some to infer that this version could have been compiled sometime in May. A tease of something to come? As always, hard to tell, but expect the price of second-hand 920s to bump up a little, for the next few weeks at least. |

Posted: 15 Feb 2014 10:34 AM PST So... Largely disappointed as expected. The resolution is too low for someone like me coming from a WQXGA display. Display tech is also quite poor in comparison to what I have on my (very f**ked up) Dell. I am not used to laptop keyboards so that would take a lot of time getting used to. Would have to reorganize my Chrome toolbar to fit all the icons in so little space available on that device And since the changes sync across all Chromes, I would have get the same compact edition on my desktop as well lol. Anyways. It is still a laptop that comes with a 9 hour battery life. Which is what the focus is on. A backup machine to be used primarily during longer power cuts and travel. Would see if I can switch to it as my primary work machine as well. Would save a lot of power in the process. I can now get a Pogobox or a similar device for my torrent downloads and exclusively use the desktop for watching movies and TV shows! I would eventually find out. |

Posted: 15 Feb 2014 09:48 AM PST So, I started watching this because the second season of Six Feet Under turned out to be corrupted. Liking it so far. There are a few issues though… The characters are pretty similar to the SG-1 team. John Sheppard is an exact duplicate of Jack O'Neill for example. I have not reached the stage where the character of Ronon Dex joins them. And I am seriously not looking forward to Samantha Carter replacing Elizabeth Weir as I have heard she does (not sure though). I also see that Jewel Staite would be joining the cast as well. That should be nice. She was in Firefly! A lot of episodes have similar stories to SG-1. The concept is also on the similar lines. Some shit happens and things are not looking good but everything magically fix up in the last 2 minutes of the episode. Most of the stories are independent in nature just like SG-1. Few stories are divided into two episodes. Also this: Actor that plays Simon, Elizabeth Weir's husband is the same actor that played Narim of the Tollan in SG-1 Especially funny considering Weir was in SG-1 too for a few episodes. |

Australia's tour of South Africa Posted: 15 Feb 2014 09:14 AM PST So one of the most anticipated contest is underway as SA win the toss and chose to bowl in the first test @ Centurion. http://www.espncricinfo.com/south-africa-v-australia-2013-14/content/current/story/718109.html The best of the pace should be on display in this series. Alex Doolan makes his debut for Aus after an impressive FC season. Shaun Marsh's selection comes a bit of a shocker. |
