So, I am sick and tired of the piece of shite modem that BSNL gave me. Manu suggested I should get something of my own. 

I have a Buffalo Wireless Router so just a modem would suffice. Though I would not mind getting a combo device provided it has similar or better wireless coverage. 

The Buffalo router works fine except for one room that is at the opposite far side of the house one floor above. So, it would be nice if that coverage problem can be solved as well? 

That sad... My router is Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH. I am not sure if it can be made to work as a modem? Just saying.

In my early posts i had indicated that there are certain pilot tests going on in Pune for upcoming ISP which will offer speeds at par with other fastest ISP in India. I was lucky enough to grab some speedtest results of the pilot project.

As of now I have no clue as under what name the service is going to be launched. But i will try to find out more or the news will be available shortly because as per my information they are planning to launch within 1-2 months.

A truck containing 22,500 LG G2 smartphones was stolen on the way to its destination in Louisville, Ky., CNET has learned. The phones were on their way to Sprint, which is expected to launch its version of the G2 early next month.

The phones were stolen at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at a truck stop in Gary, Ind., an LG representative confirmed to CNET. The driver left the truck for a bathroom break, and upon returning, found the vehicle missing.

The Indiana and Illinois state police have been contacted, as well as the FBI.

The G2 is LG's flagship device, and has stood out in the market with its unique volume and power button located at the back of the smartphone, right under the camera. It's a controversial change that has met with mixed reviews.

 The Indiana police was informed along with the FBI. The phones might not make there way all the way to India, but be aware if you find a cheap LG G2 somewhere!

Hi Guys, I recently got a Hathway connection. I bought a TP-Link TL-WR740N router separately as it available for Rs. 890/- on amazon.in (who delivered it to me in 18 hours!!!) whereas the provider was charging me Rs. 2000/- for it. So this was clearly a good decision but now I am stuck with configuring the router :( It obviously did seem quite straight forward which is why I thought I would do it myself. I have chosen PPPoE and entered the right username and password I went into the advanced section in the WAN section and provided the service name provided to me. The problem is the router is not getting connected to the internet. When I check the system log on the router it shows me a bad username and password. I have rechecked the credentials and they work fine for me over Ethernet So I know that is not the problem. Can someone tell me if I am missing something.
