nVidia announced "Project Shield" at CES 2013 which is a portable Android based gaming console. It has a quad core Tegra 4 processor with a 5" 720p multi-touch screen, a massive controller for a portable device and a 38Wh battery.

Slots included are HDMI (micro HDMI?), microSD, microUSB and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device is capable of connecting to a 4K display device via HDMI and can decode a 4K video courtesy of the Tegra 4. Wireless connectivity for TVs is also provided via a receiver, with nVidia promising availability of wireless dongles (not sure if this is wifi or something proprietary).

In addition to all this, "Project Shield" is also able to pair with a PC having a GeForce GTX card in it. The PC handles the rendering part while the "Shield" acts as a controller and video upscaler/streamer to the TV. This merges perfectly with the recently introduced "Steam Big Picture" and was also demoed during the CES.

Ouya console which is another android based game console will be a "receive target" for shield according to nVidia. I am guessing this will be similar to the PC based pairing mentioned above.

Probable launch is around Q2 2013.

So Ghost returns? If this is true, and it probably is, I'll be lining up to pre order it this November.

UK supermarket giant Tesco has a product listing and box art for currently unannounced Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The listings cover Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms, though the Xbox 360 listing has already been removed. The PlayStation 3 listing remains at time of writing, however.

As well as outing both the unrevealed game and what is believed to be the official box art, the merchant's product listing also claimed that the sequel will be "built on an entirely new story, setting, and cast, all powered by a next-generation Call of Duty engine".

From past 2 days, I'm experiencing a weird issue with my broadband. Around 6 pm to 12 am my internet becomes really slow, sometimes its around 30 kbps and sometimes it even dips down to 2-3 kbps. However, It works perfectly during the day. These are the stats, shown on my routers page, in case its helpful:

I made the rather unwise decision of buying the bsnl ADSL2 wireless routermodem offered by BSNL along with my new connection. It is provided by one Indian company called Teracom. BSNL charged me 2000 inr for it, which should come at the end of the first month bill. Needless to say the device is crap. No warranty information was provided with device, and wireless has a advertised speed of 24Mbps; Other routers in the same price range are advertised having speeds of 150-300 Mbps. Very poor range as well as i get connectively in 3 rooms of the house (It doesn't even have an external antenna). My hopes are dim but I will visit them when I go back to my hometown in the weekend. I wonder if BSNL might have some 30-day return/refund policy. Has anyone had success with giving back their modem and getting a refund?

I've a MTS [ZTE AC8720] CDMA2000 1X modem. MTS has withdrawn its services so I would like to know if it is possible to make it work with BSNL EVDO by inserting CDMA sim.

I was browsing through the rewards section of the standard chartered bank's website to redeem rewards point that I have accumulated over the time and landed up on this  ShopTheUS  website.

 

I continued with te registration (only till the point where the ask for my phone number) and I have realized that they allocated me a address in Oregon.

 

I got curious about the rate of taxes in the state of Oregon and after a quick google search I have come to know there is infact no sales tax in Oregon.

 

So if anybody is looking for an online service to get goods shipped from US can take advantage of the same.

 

I have personally not used it and thus have no experience about the service and thus try it on your own risk

I am new to this forum and seeking help from the experts over here. I am using nokia siemens C2110 modem(Type-1). Recently I could not able to connect internet using my ethernet Rj45 cable as when i incert the RJ45 cable port to the modem PC/LED light not glowing. But I am able to connect the internet through usb (I have to install usb driver for that). But the speed of using usb is much slower than using Lan(RJ 45). I swiched off my modem as well as my pc for a while but no help. I contacted BSNL , they are unable to change it as it was out of warranty (I bought it from BSNL). On this note I would like to state that I am using PCI lan card and it is working well(I have tested it to my friend PC). I have bought a USB to Lan converter to check if it (Lan of my modem)works. But still no result. Please help me.
