I recently ported my Vodafone connection to Docomo. I have a Nokia Lumia 920, but I realized that I'm unable to use my phone's data connection as a wi-fi hotspot. Other devices can connect to my Lumia 920 when internet sharing is turned on, but the connection just doesn't work on the other devices. But I'm able to browse the internet and download on my phone at 3G speeds without any problems. So I just wanted to know, does Tata Docomo block tethering of its 3G connections? If not, are there any manual seetings I need to enter, to enable internet sharing? Please let me know if ay of you are able to use a mobile Docomo connection as a wi-fi hotspot. If this has ben possible for you, that means there is probably some issue with my phone or settings. Please help me out. Thank you.

was using Reliance GSM 2G plan on my cellphone as backup although was not able to download much on it due to laggy speeds but now the Pricing has been revised with shocking low data usage allowance something which would have sounded good for 3G speeds but this is just so very expensive for 2G plans.

Its a pain to update a 10MB app on playstore easily on 2G speeds and they still increase pricing so much,

 

Seems telecom companies are passing the price heat to its customers now.

Recently I had to travel a lot to different countries due to my work and is going to increase in near future. This has created lots of problem since receiving calls on International Roaming is damn expensive and quality of service is really bad (I am Vodafone user). Moreover while abroad I prefer using local number and don't want to invest in keeping two sim-cards/devices at the same time.

 

So I want to know is there any service which allows to Divert calls to an International number without charging or letting know anything to calling. It will be great if I don't have to leave working mobile phone at my home in-order to keep SIM running, just purely electronic stuff (read internet) should do better.

..at the very initial stages, after taking down the helicopter and carrying that man to the sea shore kind of thing, this happens:

Yesterday i got wet in rain and my laptop too got some moisture. Now today after drying up laptop properly with hair dryer and other stuff, powered on the laptop. It booted fine but after 10 mins i got a BSOD and it crashed. After that i did not get any display. Okay so here is my frustration. I was paying 850rs and was getting 2mbps till 10gb until recently. Now they have shifted me to 512kbps for 10gb. I called them, they say this is an old plan which you are on. Jesus man, 512kbps for 850rs till 10gb?

I am so pissed. I am planning to escalate this. Whom should I contact and what should I write?

Airtel website does not even list any plan saying 512kbps for 850rs. Also how to I contact retention guys so that they can offer me some good plans?

Recently I bought Dlink DSL-2750U modem+router for home use. I want to configure this router but router WAN port accepts RJ11 cable.

And tikona has RJ45 cable.

So anybody can suggest solution for this problem?

Also this router has USB port for connecting internet dongles.
