Posted: 20 Aug 2013 12:26 PM PDT Does God Exist? This is one of the best explanations of why God allows pain and suffering that I have seen. It's an explanation other people will understand. A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists." "Why do you say that?" asked the customer. "Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine loving a God who would allow all of these things." The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt. The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist." "How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!" "No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside." "Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me." "Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world." BE BLESSED & BE A BLESSING!! |

How to get wifi password from a router? Posted: 20 Aug 2013 11:41 AM PDT My office doesn't have a wi fi access. So i gave my spare wi fi (beetel 450tc1)router(3 months back) to them so that i too can access it. Last month someone misused it and gone beyond the FUP resulting in slow speed which is difficult to check even emails.
Now they have changed the wifi password. How to know that? I have the access to the main computer to which router is connected. Even the router settings is restricted with a personal username and password.
Anyone here know how to get the wifi password or the router user and pass?
The last thing to do is disconnect the router and bring it to my home
P.S. Hope this thread is legal and dont come under hacking category |
Static IP improves service drastically Posted: 20 Aug 2013 11:37 AM PDT From past few days my service was just pathetic. i am having a 2mbps unlimited plan on which download speed was 2mbps but the upload speed was around 400kbps. There were issues of packet drop and high pings. So a guy from tikona suggested me that i should take the static IP service and there will be huge change in your service. And guess what he was correct.
Benifits 1. No login page ever. 2. Connect as many PC with your Wifi router. 3. download speed of 3.5 mbps 4. upload speed of 2mbps 5. super low pings. 6. no packet drop.
Drawbacks 1. you will have to shell out Rs1500 a year. |

Posted: 20 Aug 2013 10:15 AM PDT Help...!!
I'm in midst of backing up about 2TB of data through my WLAN network to a portable disk connected to a desktop.
Now here is the thing. On my 54mbps router even on LAN the throughput is no more than 10-11 mbps.
Following are the wifi router settings.
1. Encryption - WPA2-PSK-AES 2. Channel - 13. No wifi interfering networks on this channel. 3. Transmit Power - HIgh 4. 802.11g.
About 4 other devices connected to the network, however, no way these are using more than 100kbps at any given time. Also, distance from the router to all devices is less than 15 meters, and are in the line of sight of the router - hence no physical obstruction.
Any ideas how to increase the network throughput, from current 10-11 mbps to atleast 40mbps. |

The general cricket discussion thread Posted: 20 Aug 2013 09:00 AM PDT Why this thread? So often, we have some random thought or point to make/discuss , and I personally sometimes skip it as I feel it is not worthy of a new thread & feel its unfair to hijack an existing thread... Would recommend creating new thread for any big news & as usual we have threads for specific series/tournaments.. This is for something general random posts related to cricket...Kind of the Cricket Offtopic thread... Will start with one post ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Misbah & Taibu seem to competing with each other for the prize of who can bat more defensively.... ---------- After beating NZ in the 3rd ODI with a draing chase... Now Zimbabwe are on verge on possibly upsetting them in the Only Test... 116 needed in 34 Overs (Incl mandatory Overs) with the new ball just taken |

Posted: 20 Aug 2013 07:49 AM PDT I have probably watched most of the older seasons on Star World but going through it from scratch considering it is a show that is still running and doing extremely well. It is not the most exciting of shows but it does well nonetheless. I like the primary character because of his stupid smile and the way he handle things while narrating it to audience how he does it. |
MTNL VDSL Installation queries Posted: 20 Aug 2013 07:29 AM PDT I'm a MTNL triband user and thinking to shift to VDSL. Have some queries: 1. What are the installation charges including the set up, the wiring and the one-time deposits? 2. Is it necessary to keep a telephone or can I get rid of it as nobody uses land-line here. If I cannot get rid of it, then what's the monthly charge for the telephone? 3. What is the monthly charge for the VDSL wireless router? |
Tata Docomo Photon Plus Worst Service Ever Posted: 20 Aug 2013 07:22 AM PDT I registered a request with Photon+ number 9235015747 on 23rd july 2013 with migration request number 372502369 at Tata Docomo Store Civil Lines, Allahabad I was told that migration will take place in 4 days. I called Customer Care on 27th July then I got the answer that it will be done by 30th July, after calling customer care on 30th July another request was raised with request number 374530971. I got another call on 1st August 2013 where another request was raised with reference number 373957703, and I was told that this will be resolved by 5th aug 2013.
Now on 5th August 2013 a bill for this connection is raised and I got a sms on 6th Aug 2013 that request number 373957703 has exceeded the closure timelines and it will be resolved within 2 working days but still there is no resolution. Please help with further steps to be taken from my end. Today 9th Aug 2013 I got a call from tata docomo office number +913366337920 saying that I need to submit my document again to get my postpaid connection converted to prepaid and then got a sms on my registered mobile number 8005320231 that my complaint# 373957703 is resolved but my connection is still in postpaid mode, really a terrible and pathetic experience from Docomo, will never suggest anyone to but any docomo product. Finally, the connection was never migrated from Postpaid to Prepaid and they have closed the request without informing me that is the end consumer, so finally after facing a hell lot of harassment from Docomo I decided to pull off from the connection on 20th August 2013 for ever. Raised a new complaint request for closing the account permanently. The request number is 376450121.
Never subscribe to Photon+ postpaid connection Really it's a worst service,I had a docomo mobile connection also which I migrated to airtel which works well now |

Youtube Download Interruption - Bsnl usof rural home combo uld 500 plan Posted: 20 Aug 2013 06:41 AM PDT Hi guys, I am using BSNL USOF RURAL HOME COMBO ULD 500 Plan for my home broadband connection. Under this plan, BSNL offers network speed of 512 kbps upto a monthly download limit of 6 GB, and 256 kbps thereafter, every month. I pay Rs.500/- monthly to BSNL, against Broadband service.
Youtube videos are not downloading properly in my BSNL connection, when network speed changes to 256 kbps, after crossing 6 GB monthly download limit. Youtube videos with Average bit rate of 256 kbps or lower, download without any problem. The problem is with Youtube videos with Average bit rate higher than 256 kbps. During download of this type of Youtube videos, the data transmission completely stops for time intervals ranging 10 seconds to several minutes, and then resumes. This halt of data transmission appears several times during each video download. Sometimes, the halted data transmission never resumes, and the download is disrupted forever. To resume download in this case, I am forced to reload the corresponding Youtube page. During halt of data transmission, the "INTERNET" and "ETHERNET" lights on my BSNL Modem completely stop blinking. "DSL" light on Modem remains stable.
It has turned out to be almost impossible to download most Youtube videos at 256 kbps net speed.
Other than this problem, my BSNL connection is fine at 256 kbps network speed. Download from all other video sources is normal at 256 kbps network speed.
I complained to BSNL several times, but BSNL is not rectifying the problem.
Now, I plan to file suit against BSNL in a Court of Law, on this problem.
Could this be a communication error between BSNL Routers and Youtube Server ?
Is BSNL intentionally regulating my Youtube download speed ?
Kindly advise. Thanks in advance. |

Since Nokia Lumia 928 is planned for Verizon US, 925 could be International version of 928.
The specs of the Lumia 925 are expected to be the same as the Lumia 928, with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset, a 4.5" 720p HD display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a camera that supposedly will perform excellently in low-light conditions, and of course it will run on Windows Phone |
