Setting downstream line rate to 5 Mbps won't yeild 5 Mbps download speed. It'll give exact 4 Mbps speed as the port speed is set at 4 Mbps.

Guys, i just saw this list from I&B Ministry, which shows quite a few channels that have been permitted, but are not aired on any provider yet. What could be the reason for that?

1 of the channels for which i have been eagerly waiting - SAB TV in HD, has already got the permission as long as since Feb 27, 2012. But its nowhere to be seen. Dont understand the reason behind it......anyone with any inputs?

I am on FF 17.0.1 and no crashes, checked for update and it says you are on latest.
No crashes even with lots of Tabs on primary display and multiple window on extended monitor too.

Check if disabling a few newly added add-on helps you.

The plot is kinda simple ie the mystery behind the murders. A lot of the criticism has centred around Cruise not being cut out for this role, having not read the book, all I can say is, that I found his potrayal of Reacher to be alright.

What I liked about this movie is that it intense and fast paced, while the lead in to one of best action sequences in this is questionable but doesnt take anything from the fact that this movie will not leave you bored.

Watch it if you've nothing better to do, or save it for a rainy day by the time its out on dvd.

voda has discontinued the Rs.40/Tariff at-least for U.P.(east) which allowed calling all local/std calls @40p/minute
now they offer Rs.41 Tariff as per their online recharge website

it says "All Local and STD Mobile Calls on all Network @ 40p / Sec"


Holy sh*t, I am not going to pay Rs.24 a minute, this is criminal or will kill people's budget for sure.


if this is a typo, I am still not interested in sticking to voda as I get 10% signals while I am home on 3G, and they don't even carry forward the remaining bandwidth at the end of month, First they don't let you use 3G then they don't even let you carry forward it, so Its a shame to use 2G when I need and pay for 3G.


Time to wait and port again to a more grown up operator.

you don't need a username password for mtnl 3g and the above mentioned apn's are fine.

error 628 is a subscription issue. server rejects or the port assigned to you isn't letting you connect. solution is to get mtnl service technicians reset your ports...i have had this issue quite a few times during october. they had to change my ports quite few times as i used to burn out the ports every week don't know how :p ...

so tell them its a subscription error code 628 and they would need to reset/change your existing port.

actually they may have done some upgrade i think. but the box and all is from late 90s. only whatever part breaksdown they used to change. now only i am telling go for full new as small changes are restrictive because of remaining old parts and compatabilty keeps reducing.

bsaically get best motherboard & processor. other things can be best possible. right?

hey guys just received a call from +2522239624 which apparently is from somalia !! now here's the weird part. the person calling is a girl who says " please call me . yeh mera personal number hai, pl pl call me, mujhe tumse baat karni hai" and abruptly hangs up. ;P
looks like this is the new iteration of the missed call tactic. a quick google check says +252 is from somalia. so beware and don't ever call them !
