The 2011 Toyota Sienna is the first all-new Sienna in more than seven years. It replaces the 2004-2010 Sienna and gets expressive new styling, more interior room, and additional safety features. It's also available with ottoman-style reclining bucket seats and a 16.4-inch widescreen video display. Better fuel economy is on tap thanks to a newly available four-cylinder engine. It joins the carried-over V-6, itself more fuel-efficient for 2011.

Imagine a home that seems to levitate over water. This is a Nurai Island Water Villa, with stirring, panoramic views through the endless glass walls of every residence are simply breathtaking.

The island resort of Nurai is a private community of limited edition beachfront real estate and water villas. Nurai is a natural island located northeast of Abu Dhabi and one kilometer from the shores of Saadiyat that will host the city's cultural district (Louvres and Guggenheim Museum among other world class attractions). Part of the development is also a boutique luxury hotel with 60 suites. Considered the most sought after island in the Arab Emirates, Nurai offers timeless elegance and outstanding design features for residents. The design concept for the island provides residents with abundant pieces of land and ultimately privacy. The water villas extend into the ocean providing 360-degree views of ocean and offer a variety of customized features to meet resident's needs. In addition, the beachfront estates will include a private beach and garden, rooftop garden with spa pool, indoor reflecting pools, entertainment patios, and more. Designed by Dror Benshetrit, a NY-based industrial designer, the over the water residences are approximately 5,500 square feet, considerably smaller than the ocean front villas, but so gorgeous we think they are the must have item on the island. Besides, we don't think you can actually own a residence over top of the water anywhere else in the world. To reach your private villa, you walk out over white sand and torquoise water.

There are 3 types of villas available: Shoreline Villas, Seaside Villas, and Water Villas.

Shoreline Villas
Shoreline Villas are huge 6 bed / 7 bath villas set on 35,000 – 65,000 SQ. FT (or 3,252 – 6,039 SQ. M) land plots with the built-up area of each villa spanning 17,707 SQ. FT (or 1,645 SQ. M). With the shoreline villas' located slightly aback the beach, each villa affords a luxurious private tropical garden with a distinctive green carpet roof that blend each villa with the island's lush greenery. Every shoreline villas also has – a private beach with unobstructed sea views, an infinity pool, a cinema/multimedia room, an outdoor barbeque area as well as a gym, sauna, and steam room. Seaside Villas
The limited-edition Seaside Beachfront Villas are sizeable 5 bed / 6 bath villas set on land plots of between 35,000 – 65,000 SQ. FT (or 3,252 – 6,039 SQ. M) with the built-up area of each villa spanning 18,730 SQ. FT (or 1,745 SQ. M). Externally, they feature a unique green carpet roof that blends with the island's lush greenery. Internally, they feel spacious with abundant natural lights from their floor to ceiling windows that gives residents a sense of openness.

Seaside Villas are only separated from the beach by an infinity pool and terrace. Each seaside residence includes a private beach with unobstructed sea views, a private infinity pool, a cinema/multimedia room, an outdoor barbeque area as well as a gym, sauna, and steam room.

Water Villas
The limited-edition Water Villas are truly at the cutting edge of contemporary living. They are 28 – 4 bed / 4 bath Water Villas with an internal build area of 10,011 SQ. FT set on 21,000 – 51,000 SQ. FT land plots each. Mazda has dropped the official details on the company’s Minagi Concept. The sleek CUV is intended to give us all a little taste of exactly where Mazda’s design is headed in the near future as well as show off the company’s new Skyactiv drivetrain technologies. Mazda isn’t telling us exactly what’s under that sculpted hood other than to say that the Minagi gets its power from a Skyactiv engine and puts it to the ground via a Skyactiv transmission. In addition to those fuel-saving components, Mazda claims that the Minagi also uses a host of weight-saving tricks to boost fuel economy.

The concept wears the new Mazda design theme called Kodo, or soul of motion. From what we can see from the renderings, the look is a full galaxy ahead of the all smiles design the Japanese automaker is currently employing. We’ll be interested to see how the lines translate to the real world when the concept shows up at this year’s Geneva Motor Show in March. Hit the jump for the full press release.

AUTO SHOW

Britain is known for consuming copious amounts of different tea blends. This year’s RM Auction offered a very special British blend of its own. The parts not readily seen come from an impressive sports car in its own right. This largely is overshadowed by what is readily seen.

Offered this year was an especially rare Aston Martin C-Type body. Only about five Aston Martin C-Types are known to still exist. All indications seem to point to the fact that the body for this unique car is an actual C-Type Roadster body produced by Aston Martin. In and of itself this is a special find. Were it to be fully original, the car would be incredibly special. What this body rests on, however, is no slouch when it comes to classic cars.

Underneath the C-Type body rests the heart and muscles of a 1959 Jaguar XK150. Original C-Type Aston Martins were known to be rather good performers. The cars were able to reach 100 mph. At Brooklands, in 1938, a specially tuned C-Type reached 112 mph. However, when combined with a Jaguar XK150′s 210 bhp, 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine, the Aston Martin body is capable of achieving performance designers had in made by its obvious streamlining, but hadn’t been able to practically achieve.
