i do believe that it is mostly connected to some addon you might be running that is blocking the related scripts.

Uh... how would that make a difference? The forms and copies of this that and the other thing still have to be stamped in this country by your consulate and/or a notary. If it were possible I'd have sent already filled out and sent all the papers back with my Mrs in August when she last visited NZ. Half the time I don't even get sent the papers until a few days after the lawyers receive confirmation that a certain step is completed.

I said think as if you were in 2002 not 2006 or 2010. At the time if your job was to take a call given what happened on 9-11 what would you have done. The administration was under pressure to make sure it never happened again. You need to send a message out to those that would want to commit many 9-11's if given the chance.

You have to look at this from an american perspective and a republican one at that. BBC or CNN are not going to give you that picture. And forget about our media.

26-11 is a little example of whats possible if you get pro's involved in planning an attrocity. Imagine the same with Saddams help anywhere US interests are involved. Who would they go after, he'd be picking at them from different spots and they would have no clue. They did not want to wait for this scenario to unfold, they went ahead and pre-empted it.

The problem you have with this is simple, no WMD, no evidence of terrorism etc. therefore how could the attack be justified. Would Saddam have done it. Not the right questions, does not even matter. All it requires is for the US to believe its plausible and it was very plausible in 2002 and they get the guns out.

'This' to me means Iraq was made an example of, any country that tries to attack US interests will face the same. Because 9-11 signalled the beginning of 'open season' on the US or her interests.

How many attacks have they been on US interests since 9-11. Not a single one. All the idiots that would do this got sucked into Iraq & Afghanistan where they got their asses handed to them. So they got to fight the US in another country and lost. Do you see how they got played. Do you see how the idea that anyone can do a 9-11 got countered.

So maye 'this' might not have stopped entirely but its had a lot of blood drained out of it since 9-11. 'This' is weaker today than it was just after 9-11.

Because Pakistan dare not try anything against the US. And that should tell you a thing or two, the US only cares about terrorism on its interests FIRST.

Pakistan is OUR problem not an american problem. We have to come up with our own ways to deal with it, not expect US to sort it out for us. That is why the US is 'not doing anything'.

They don't have the motive or the determination that Saddam would have had. The man was kicked out of Kuwait and sanctioned for 12 years so his army was weaker and he had no nukes. In short a much easier target and one good enough to make a point to the whole world.

There was no oil in Afghanistan either, yet they still went there.

The question isn't how he hurt them, but rather how he could or will hurt them in the future if ignored.

Training terrorists is not required when he has his armed forces, real pro's not amateurs or wannabe's.

He does not have to send them to america, he could send them anywhere in the world where US has interests.

And its been well known that Saudi's as in personal contributions by citizens for whatever cause rather than the state itself has been doing this for a long time.

The Sheiks cannot defend their own country without running crying to the west for help. They purposely keep their armed forces weak despite buying billions in toys because they are afraid of a coup. Therefore the Saudi's & other gulf arabs represent ZERO risk to the US. They're a harmless people :D

The Iraqi's otoh are a much tougher, smarter people. I would describe Iraq as the Germany of the gulf when it comes to the ability of her people.

well i feel like an idiot now. i discovered that a shady looking shop was selling airtel and vodafone prepaid sims for 15 rupees in the nearby market.

(i remember taking an IDEA sim from them earlier this year. that connection had stopped working after a week. Parents confirmed that no one had come to verify my address... So probably that was the reason).
