Best Airtel pack for south

Hi,
I have called Airtel CC 3 times and am confused.
Website says something else too.

1) I want to know if there is a pack called South Economy which has sports channels free + 2 Regional Top Ups (Tamil/Telugu/Malyalam) Free?

Does anyone know this?

Could you suggest a better pack - I watch regional channels + Sports + English News + some hindi movies

i got broadband connection(plan 750+) 2 months back.initially i was getting downloading speed around 200 kbps.but since last week it has come down to 55-65.
bsnl has given me the same modem.any one knows why this has happened?

MTNL mumbai has launched this card (teracom)...does this work on Fedora 12?

If yes I might purchase it.. 1799Rs and 2GB free for 30days.

Also does it work with any other SIM card or just MTNL/BSNL?

I too had Reliance Wired Internet about 2 years ago.
And I never had a single disconnection.....
Then, I shifted to FiveNet just because it was providing me cheaper service.....

Airtel HD vs Airtel Normal?

Exactly - My question is
1) I want to Buy a HD Settop Box.
2) Is it mandatory to shell out 15/- Per month for HD if i dont want it?

Someone from airtel needs to clarify.

I called their CC. They say you should. Its a very small amount.

Tommorrow, They will add more channels to HD and say Boss, Pay me 100/- extra. Why should i if i dont want HD.
