We’ve seen Explorers, Fiestas and even an F-Series Super Duty, but of course, the car with the biggest showing on Ford‘s SEMA stand is the Mustang. In fact, the automaker is displaying nine examples of its pony car, showing a wide range of customization options.

Starting things off in-house, Ford has provided us with a glimpse of what is possible through its Vehicle Personalization program. The VP ‘Stang wears wheels, rear window louvers, a rear spoiler and a handful of other items that are all for sale at FordAccessoriesStore.com. Besides the in-house car, Ford handed the Mustang off to Funkmaster Flex and Team Baurtwell, MRT, Creations n’ Chrome, Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, Mobsteel, Raceskinz, Street Scene Equipment and Tjin Edition.

Funk Flex, who at this point probably holds an executive position back in Dearborn, designed his Mustang for rapper Snoop Dogg. MRT envisioned the car as a tough street warrior. Creations n’ Chrome partnered with the American Cancer Society to raise awareness for breast cancer, and painted its car Pink Chrome. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords stays true to its name, adding a supercharger kit to the 5.0-liter engine under the hood. Mobsteel goes a different, yet similar route, by turbocharging a V6 example.

This is only a small taste of what the assorted tuners have done to the 2011 Mustang, and that’s only limited to what Ford has in its display. Click through the gallery below and check out the finished products.

Nissan New Mobility Concept
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. today announced a proposal for new mobility in a sustainable zero emission society and an electric vehicle (EV) embodying its proposal, 'NISSAN New Mobility CONCEPT'.

Nissan continues to envision new possibilities realized by EVs. One proposal is a sustainable, efficient and convenient mode of transportation focusing on the increase of elderly and single households, as well as the trend of driving short-distances or in smaller groups. NISSAN New Mobility CONCEPT is our proposal to make this a reality.
Four keywords outline the NISSAN New Mobility CONCEPT:
* Innovative – New two-seater compact mobility for various needs and occasions
* Easy – Size which enables anyone to drive and park easily
* Safe – Maneuverability equivalent to motorbikes with greater safety
* Clean – No emissions while driving
Nissan New Mobility Concept
NISSAN New Mobility Concept is an user-friendly, ultra-compact 100% electric vehicle with no emissions which is expected to be utilized in various situations in everyday life. Nissan will study the use of this vehicle for a variety of services, such as:
* 'seamless mobility service', a highly efficient and convenient public transportation service linking public transportation and EVs supported by IT,
* '2-mode EV car sharing', where the vehicle is used as a private commuter vehicle in the mornings and evenings, and as a corporate car during business hours, and,
* contributing to the revitalization of communities with improved mobility in both urban and tourist locations.
Aiming to be a global leader in zero-emission mobility with Alliance partner Renault, Nissan will launch Nissan LEAF, the first 100% electric, mass-marketed, zero-emission car in December 2010 in Japan and the United States, and in early 2011 in Europe. In addition to the development and production of EVs, Nissan is taking a comprehensive approach to promote sustainable mobility. This includes Nissan's engagement with more than 80 zero-emission partnerships worldwide with countries, cities, organizations and other key stakeholders, the deployment of charging infrastructure, second-life use of lithium-ion batteries in EVs and the promotion of recycling parts used in vehicle production.

Once upon a time, Toro Rosso’s Jaime Alguersuari travelled to the Caribbean for a Red Bull Formula One demonstration. Alguersuari wowed 200,000 spectators at the event held in the Dominican Republic’s capital, Santo Domingo, before taking to the beach.

On a hot Sunday in May, Alguersuari headed to the beach, becoming the first Formula One driver to race on sand at 180 km/h. The 20 year-old was in action on the beautiful Juanillo-Cap Cana beach. This was the result….
