Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has batted for honesty and integrity in public life, has not vacated his official bungalow C-II/23 at Tilak Lane despite the completion of the 15-day grace period.

According to Delhi Secretariat sources, PWD has not sent a notice to Kejriwal for vacating the official house allotted to him, fearing that if the same government comes to power, it may create trouble for the concerned officials. Even, from Kejriwal's side, there has been no communication in this regard. Kejriwal who resigned from the chief minister's post on February 14, ideally should have vacated the house on March 1.

Current MP is Rao Inderjit Singh who won on a Congress seat but moved to BJP few months ago. 

And there are now reports that Congress might field Sharmila Tagore as their candidate from Gurgaon.

Make it possible to manage everything in Modern UI: Alternatively, if you want to stay in the Modern UI 100 percent of the time, Microsoft should let you stay there 100 percent of the time. Especially since the Modern UI is the future of Windows. Microsoft should have the Task Manager, Windows Explorer and Control Panel available as Modern UI apps. You should be able to change your screen resolution and manage your files without being forced to the desktop.

Hi, I am new to this site. tried browsing some old posts, but figured I specifically ask this question again, because I am unable to get a conclusive answer.

I am currently using TATA Photon+. It works fine. The issue and reliability is not the problem, but there is problem with the cost. I have an unlimited plan, but it only allows me to download 10Gb per month at around Rs.1600. If I download above that limit, I am charged a few paise per Mb that I have downloaded. I am considering changing over to a cheaper option which allows more download at decent speed and reliable connection(by reliable I mean, doesn't die out for a couple of hours all of a sudden). I plan on changing my photon+ scheme to a minimum prepaid plan, just as a backup, while using a new cheaper connection for downloading movies, software etc.

I used to have MTNL Triband earlier, but it has reliability issues. If they have sorted that out, then I don't mind going back to Triband.

I need Help in deciding what would be the best cost effective option to go for, for a person living in Gorai-Charkop area, Borivali(W), Mumbai; who has a usage of around 25Gb per month and needs decent speeds.

Can anyone tell me which one of the following is the best buy:

Hathway

YOU Broadband

Or maybe something from TATA Indicom itself.

Malaysia's Maxis Communications has revived talks to sell its majority stake in Chennai-based telecom company Aircel. Sources told CNBC-TV18 that Maxis is in prelimnary talks with  Idea Cellular  for the stake sale. Executives from both Idea and Maxis have met to discuss the deal. Sources say talks are going on to acquire user base, assets and employees of Maxis. Currently, Aircel is present in 22 circles with a customer base of 61 million of January 2014. The company had curtailed GSM operations in five circles unprofitable due to high operating costs. The circles were Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (W) and Kerala. Aircel has a debt of about Rs 23,000 crore. Sources say the debt burden and the ongoing CBI probe against the company may be roadblocks to the deal.

India's largest state-owned telecommunications service provider Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has decided to increase the landline and broadband monthly tariff from March 1 across the country.   "One India monthly plan for landline will be revised from Rs 180 to Rs 195," BSNL CGM (Kolkata) Gautam Chakraborty told PTI. The fixed monthly charge for limited usage broadband plans has similarly been increased. The revision is between Rs 24 and Rs 350 depending on the scheme, he added.   The Rs 250 plan will now cost Rs 275, Rs 600 plan will get revised to Rs 630 while, the Rs 400 plan will cost Rs 424, Rs 2,799 and Rs 3,699 plans will be dearer by Rs 200 a month, he said. The Rs 4,999 and 6,999 plans will get hiked by Rs 250 and Rs 350 a month, he added.   Source: http://www.thehindu.com/business/Industry/bsnl-to-hike-landline-broadband-rentals/article5736987.ece

So... With all three HDDs failing, I guess it's time to plan for a new desktop instead of risking more hard disks failure.

My basic requirement is quite simple... Need a high performance machine. I do not game but I do have a 30" display that requires a Dual-DVI input for native resolution.
I currently have a quad core AMD processor with a CM fan. 8GB RAM. 3 HDDs (500GB, 1TB, 3TB). I would be sending in the drives still under warranty for replacements or whatever. From what I understand only the 3TB WD HDD is still under warranty.

So... What I am looking for here?

I would prefer a compact cabinet like I got for my uncle. But I am not sure if it is suitable for my needs. Need something that can survive for 3-4 years. Budget? Would prefer to spend less than 40K because anything above would be obscene for what I do with it.

I would try to recycle as many parts as possible but I do not see the point really. The internals in this box right now are at least 4 years old today except for the hard drives and RAM.

A motherboard with USB 3 ports

Mid-range processor

8GB RAM (I assume my existing sticks would work fine?)

1 SSD for OS with 1 large capacity drive for data (or 1 hybrid with 1 data drive)

When I do a series record, it records every instance of that show that airs. For a show like Taraak Metha that's A LOT.

I have been using In2cable services here in Bangalore, Kumarswamy Layout area. I have taken 50GB 15Mbps connection.

However the sad part is I have never seen anything near to 15Mbps nor even close to '10' for that matter. In the night i get around 1Mbps and its gets bad with frequent disconnection. 

Anybody here who face the same issues? Can somebody from In2cable look into this.?

I am new here and I am posting here for the first time. The reason I'm here is because I need some advice on internet providers in the Kandivali (W), Mumbai region. Our current provider is In2Net Cable and I cannot say the internet is reliable. We currently have dynamic IP service 2mbps package for 6 months and are looking for alternatives.

Our biggest gripe with In2Net service is that their dynamic IP through PPPoE changes so frequently (6 hours or less IP Renewal window), makes is very unreliable for long (slow) downloads. Also, we call USA through VOIP and we frequently have issues with VOIP calls dropping because of IP renewal resulting in a different IP. 

I use a router because there are multiple devices accessing the internet through WiFi (laptop and android mobile phones) and desktop pc, plus a VOIP phone adapter for USA calling (Linksys PAP2T-NA).

We want to retain wired connectivity because we need to have the router configured for the VOIP Service (which we use to call USA to speak to our relatives).

What are our options? Speed isn't a factor. 2mbps speed is good enough. I need the service to retain the IP for a longer duration even if its dynamic. This connection will be mostly unmonitored as I am also mostly in the USA. As such, my in-laws are doing the calling and I have left this setup for them to frequently call my wife in the (And I would like it to be as simple and painless as possible).

I have to admit, I have no idea. This has been my experience… ICICI Bank recently mailed me that they were no longer going to send paper statement by postal mail. I have two options. I can either make do with emailed statements. Or I can apply for a passbook. About the passbook, the email clearly said: You can also ask for a pass book at your nearest branch. Today, I decided to give it a go. I went to my 'nearest branch' (Sector 31 Market Gurgaon) to get a passbook for my savings bank account. I was told that there were some technical problems and only this branch right now was not able to provide passbooks to customers. I was told to visit any other branch where I could get a passbook on the spot. I decided to take it one step further. I went to another branch of ICICI Bank (Civil Lines Gurgaon). There I was told that I can only get a passbook from the branch where I have my account. I decided to do exactly that. I went to the branch where my account was located (Sector 14 Gurgaon). Was told… I can leave the application and come back after a week or so to collect my passbook. I was not amused by this. I asked for more details. Was told that only the home branch has the powers to update my passbook so I would have to deal with them. Not exactly what ICICI Bank indicated in their initial mail. I did the next best thing. I applied to transfer my account from that branch to the one nearest to my home. This process would take three days. The bank representative at the local branch had told me that it would take them at least 2 weeks to start distributing passbooks again. So well… The waiting begins.

I am from kerala ..planning to buy an evdo datacard.as i went through the forum i found people here taking activating plans from bsnl gennext cdma portal say doing 55pack where they are exempted from the tax ..i am confused about the recharging options!!

1) is it possible to recharge with a regular card of 55rs and enable the one day plan??

2) whats the general plan and the benefit of staying in the general plan??

3) what recharge method would help me to get the tax exemption??

2-3 months back my friend an evdo card and i got to try it at my home.i tried it only at one place of the home not having a laptop.signal bar was at 2-3 and the downloading was very fluctuating 60-18KB/sec.i wanted to take a bb connection but its not feasible the lazy morons at bsnl wont dig 200m cable for me :/
