HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 AIO Printer

Posted: 09 Mar 2014 12:59 PM PDT

Check HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 AIO Printer Deals on: Flipkart | Amazon

---

My aging HP Photosmart 8158 printer finally gave up yesterday and sister needs printer frequently now a days.  I already had HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3545 AIO Printer in mind.  Finally bought it today for 6k from a known vendor who supplies computer products to our company.  This printer retails at 6.7k on Flipkart, so this was an excellent deal.  Some features mentioned below.

    [*]Wireless connectivity.
[*]HP Ink Advantage cartridges (HP 678 Black and Color)
    [*]HP ePrint support.
    [*]Apple Airprint support.
    [*]HP Wireless Direct support.
[*]Automatic print on both sides support.
    [*]Scan through web portal.
[/list]Took a couple of prints and all were good enough.  The automatic print on both sides amazed me as I have seen this only on high end laser printers.  Scanned some old photos and it looks great too.  Printouts fired from my mobile/tablet works fine using the native print support in android 4.4 but the print comes comparatively slower which is probably because it prints on 'Normal' or 'Best' mode and in mobile I couldn't find an option to toggle this.

Overall a pretty solid printer for the price.

16th Lok Sabha General Elections of India

Posted: 09 Mar 2014 12:52 PM PDT

General Elections for electing 16th Loksabha members would happen in 1 year from now. It may even happen within 1 year as well if situation arises like current govt decides to call early elections or looses majority if coalition partners pull off support (which is less likely). So who could it be forming new govt? BJP or Congress? NDA or UPA? Narendra Modi or Rahul Gandhi? Sushma Swaraj or Manmohan Singh? Arun Jaitley or P. Chidambaram? What impact Arvind Kejriwal would have on these elections? And finally will any 3rd front succeed in forming govt at Centre?

TIKONA BANGALORE REVIEW ofcourse worst service

Posted: 09 Mar 2014 12:05 PM PDT

Guys,

My advice : Better don't go for tikona.

My experience:

After Installation within one day issues had started and took weeks to settle.

still no luck few more complains were rose.

For some period say a month or less it was good atleast when i used.

At one point the hard time with the connection was started atleast I noticed. 1000's of calls made to customer care, 100's of complaints, ten's of engineers visited still no luck, finally I dropped an email to some X provided by Customer care - was told by CC as it's higher authority. Still not luck, In fact no response from X.

I tried to post my comments in TIKONA forum, everytime I tried -I got a call from ATS Team of Tikona Bangalore. They tried but No use of it. [They might frogot, we have many broadband review forums ]

And finally - I started posting here to help others.

The Offtopic Thread

Posted: 09 Mar 2014 11:53 AM PDT

With the recent spurt of people going offtopic, I saw the need of this thread. :P Here you can go offtopic as much as possible. Post whatever you want, with just one condition that at least post something sensible that someone else would reply. Don't just post crap. Thread hijacking is totally allowed here. That being said, I'd like to post this. Today, while coming to office, I was listening to Radio Mirchi, and there the RJ was playing songs dedicated by the parents for their child(ren). There's one father who dedicated the song "Kajra Re" for his son. There's another father who dedicated the song "Dhoom Machale Dhoom" for his son. Now, after those two requests, there was one mother who dedicated the song "Jaadu Jaadu" for her daughter. Now we can see the real contrast in the choice of songs between the dads and the mom (or for the son and the daughter). What do you think which was it? Or does it indicate some kind of specific mentality?

Of course. He was awesome in both Hot Shots! - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and Hot Shots! Part Deux - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
