Remember a few weeks back when we reported that Google was working on an ultra-affordable Chrome dongle for TVs or displays called the Chromekey? At the time, we thought Chromekey would be the device name and that you would be able to "CAST" (term used by our source) your Chrome browser from desktop or mobile Chrome browser to any display to have a bigger browsing experience. Well, according to Google Play support docs, that device appears to have been renamed to Chromecast.

Hey guys, I want to buy a new android phone. I have one smartphone right now, but it doesn't support whatsapp, and internet is slow ( it is not 3g). So, I'd like to buy a new smartphone. It should be a dual sim, 3g enabled, 4 inches screen with 5 mp camera. And most importantly it has to be under 9000 rs. I don't want to spend too much on a phone. I have seen Xolo Opus Q100, and i liked the specifications. But I don't know how the company is. So, if there is a better alternative than that tell me. Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Today i have purchased bsnl evdo modem(prithvi and ruim sim) from bsnl........I have read on the website that when a new user purchase modem from bsnl they give him first month unlimited data in 350rs......but they did not give me unlimited data at this price......they told me to recharge of 20rs for validity and the 800rs something for unlimited monthly pack.........they told me that i have filled 750rs pack in form they provided me.......I told him that bsnl give unlimited to new user for 350rs......they said its called general plan and told me that you have not asked for it...............now i have to pay extra 500rs even i am new evdo user........i have not recharged in my sim yet....it will activate tonight...........please tell me what to do can i still get unlimited in 350rs.................if not then tell me if i return them data card then would they give me security fees back which is 1199rs ...........or they will not give or deduct some amount.........please tell me i am robbed by bsnl

Hello there ,i have Bsnl 3g dongle i am trying to configure it on Ubuntu 13.10 ,but it is not working,is  there anybody who has made it working on his system having latest ubuntu installation, reply asap.

Guys please check these stats out, are these stats good? If it is, Is it a problem of router or line? They say that the line is fine and the modem is bad, my pings are totally ***. This time I am gonna beat the ass of the SDO....

    I'm sorry to create a new topic; i searched the forum for ISP in Thane, but didn't find an active and relevant topic. I'm currently with Tikona from last year and a half and since last 6 months i'm facing terrible speed issues. On top of that, Tikona being wireless provider, they are expensive. There service has degraded 10 folds over the months and the customer service staff getting arrogant and ignorant calls over calls. Oh and if you default on your bill for once, man you are in trouble. I have not had so much hassle even after not paying my credit card bills.

    So coming to my main point and the reason to sign up here, would you guys here on the forum be kind enough to help me choose an internet provider as i need to defect from current one as soon as possible. I reside in Thane EAST, Kopri near 12 Bungalows. I need a connection of 2 to 4 mbps in bandwidth (actual transfer rate of 250 to 450 kbps), a fair usage policy of at least 50 Gigs (monthly) and of course a reasonable one on my pocket. I don't mind half yearly or annual plans if they fall cheaper that way. A fair comparison between 3 to 4 providers would be great. I need tried and tested suggestions and constructive criticism about them all.

P.S. - The provider should be independent and the service level shouldn't be dependent on the local cable operator. My local cable guy is a bitch, who's raked in too much money, now runs his own restaurant and doesn't care much about his cable tv and internet customers.
