Apex netcom india pvt. ltd, Drunken Customer Support Posted: 21 Feb 2014 11:11 AM PST Apex netcom india pvt. ltd (http://apexnetcom.in/index.html) is my new ISP I am using since last 28 days, there were a couple of nights when my connectivity went out, however it was 3-4 AM so i never complained about it.
Using the night pack which works from 10 PM to 8 AM and was about to upgrade BUT
Today I was away for a dinner and came back around 11PM and found not even their Login page was working.
Started Calling their support
most numbers were switched off or not answered
the one listed as 9559-85-6666 on their support page was answered after very long wait, and the guy one other side looked like was drunk to his bottom. he had no zeal to solve, no apology, no concern that entire locality is down and said " jo bhi hai ab to subah hi dekhengey"
I was like SHOCKED, I very politely said sir you promise 24x7 connectivity and 24x7 support what kind of answer was this.
and he started asking for my ID, etc etc, " jo bhi hoga dekh Lenge" type words etc etc, I told him my WISP providers name and he was started building his bullshit which I refuse to tolerate.
Had it been my other mood, I could have abused him 1000 words a minute, and that too without a gap for next 6-7 minutes, both in hindi and english, he would have become ashamed of himself drinking tonight,
I regret that I was not recording his call, else it could have been latest Funny Audio file to be shared social networks, If i had any prior such experience I would have started recording this call, but First Impression was a Nightmare when it came to the need of support to fix the damn OUTAGE.
Its a Lucknow based ISP, spread across small towns, so watch out before you subscribe...........
Lastly I don't mind appreciating their network" JAB CHALTA hai to Accha Chalta hai, Jab Nahin chale to.... Jai Ram Ji Ki, just shutdown your computer and sleep, they will not fix it, atleast in night" |
Need help with Beetel 450TC2 modem Posted: 21 Feb 2014 10:33 AM PST I recently got Beetel 450TC2 wifi-modem with my Airtel internet connection. I can connect to internet via lan wire but they have implemented enterprise wifi security for wireless connectivity. Basically, one has to register his/her devices via their website and only then he/she shall be able to connect to internet. Also it has a limit of only 4 devices via wifi as websites registers MAC of each device. If one has to add a new device he has to de-register previous device. In short it is "crap worthy". |

If you want to discuss something or post your opinion use this thread: http://broadbandforum.in/entertainment/78331-suggest-me-a-series/ Do not repeat any series that has already been posted. We are basically using this thread as a poll. Got it? If you want to search for series that have already been posted, use something like this. I am using size 6 and bold for the names. Would be nice if you can use the same! Press the Like button if you are a fan of the series posted. I am going to start with: Dexter |

Massive optics laying by reliance in various parts of country Posted: 21 Feb 2014 09:14 AM PST Hello friends, I could see massive optic fibre laying in various parts of country. I had seen conduits of various colours laying in Bangalore, Delhi and varanasi. Dont know about other places, can you guys confirm this. I had seen cable laying in as remote places of saarnath temple, Ganga ghat in banaras. Seems like vary strange bec if the connectivity is to provide to 4G sites the it should have not in such massive scale. Seems like they also plans to provide ftth |
Horrible broadband speed for BSNL Kolkata. Posted: 21 Feb 2014 09:10 AM PST I am using BSNL Broadband's BB Home Combo ULD 650 Plan and getting horrible speeds for months now. The speeds are so poor that it takes me more than 7 hours to download a 700-800 MB Movie from torrent, forget about HD Movies and PC Games.
Here's my speedtest:
http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/3321854709
And also my Ping Test Result:
Please suggest me what to do. I cannot opt for any other ISP as BSNL is mostly monopoly in Kolkata and my apartment does not allow any other broadband (the society probably gets commission from BSNL to keep out other broadband services). |
