Can anyone recommend some cases for nexus 5 (32gb black) .. shouldn't make the device bulky .. Quality shouldn't be cheap .. shouldn't make pressing of side buttons difficult ..

So if any using any case which they r liking pls recommend ..

NTPC on Saturday served notices of power supply suspension to the two Anil Ambani-owned distribution companies in Delhi due to payment issues. The state-owned utility said BSES Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna had not maintained letters of credit of adequate value, a prerequisite for getting power from NTPC stations.
Since BSES Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna have not been able to provide the requisite payment security mechanism, notice for regulation of power supply for 90 days starting February 11 has been issued to both companies.

Its frustrating that BSNL is yet to launch truly unlimited 1/2/4 Mbps plans for < 1500Rs. Its perpetually offering 512Kbps speeds from last 4-5 years. Not only that, they are not even offering speed boost say after 6pm like MTNL does. Its not only about downloading torrents. Even if i want to watch Youtube files, I am not able to with 512kbps. They should start offering speed boost to 2/4Mbps at 6pm to 8am slot if offering the same at daytime is not possible. What can we do in this situation ? Can we all raise a CRM ticket at selfcare portal to demand this ?

I've been using 512kbps-broadband from BSNL and planning to get 2Mbps DSL link from ACT broadband in the future. Kindly recommend the most suitable, value for money - WiFi Router for home use (budget Rs. upto 3500 max). My house is two storied, duplex having 1000 sqft on each floor (9 rooms). I need to interconnect my cell phone, laptop, desktop & HD TV and also to access internet via this WiFi router.

I kept a Cisco wireless access point (2.4 GHz, 2.2 dBi) in the middle of ground floor just for testing purpose & measured the signal strength with a Laptop for each rooms. Its found as signal drops 30 to 20% in far away rooms of the other floor. So, I guess a Range Extender may be required on the other floor where the router is not present.

So far I've heard abt only DLink, Linksys, TP-Link, Netgear brands.

My requirements -> access home internet using wifi via my android phone, watch HD videos on the TV occassionaly, laptop/desktop -work from home purpose. Should we choose 300 Mbps wireless speed model?

It will be good if there is a manual switch to turn off wifi when not required. I've already got a ADSL2 modem so, the WiFi router should have an internet/WAN port to accommodate the ACT broadband link.

Q1. Are these range extenders proprietary products....will a DLink extender work for Linksys or TP-Link brand?

Q2. If I also buy huawei e8131 (3G dongle + wifi hotspot), can it be used as back-up source of internet access via this wifi router?

In a scathing attack at BJP, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said there was no wave in its favour in the coming Lok Sabha polls and the party is "day dreaming" in its own world.
"BJP workers are day dreaming in their own world...there is no wave in its favour for the general elections," Kumar said while addressing a JD(U) 'Sankalp rally' here.
Kumar blamed BJP for break up in alliance by violating the agreed principles - keeping off Article 370, uniform civil code and Ayodhya dispute - which could be solved either through court order or mutual talks between two communities.
"We had made it clear to them that the Prime Minister of the country should be a person who believes in inclusive growth and a vision to take backward states ahead," he said.
"We could not have betrayed our own conscience to keep others happy," he said to justify the decision to walk out of alliance with BJP 17 years after the elevation of Narendra Modi.

One of Uttar Pradesh's most powerful politicians, Azam Khan, has been robbed of his buffaloes.
According to the police complaint, the robbers cut open the thick iron chains that were used to bind the cattle at Mr Khan's farmhouse in Rampur. The incident took place on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.
Tracking down the robbers and returning the buffaloes to Mr Khan has become the top priority of the district police. A massive combing operation has been launched by all the three police stations that fall under the district.
Superintendent of Police, Rampur, Sadhna Goswami is personally leading the buffalo search and rescue operation.

A day after Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal named him in a list of corrupt politicians, Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal today hit out at him saying he did not need any certificate from any leader or party on probity.
Jaiswal said he would send a notice to Kejriwal over the allegations and demanded reply within 72 hours failing which he would go for legal action.
"I will send a legal notice to him today demanding response within 72 hours. After that I will initiate legal action," Jaiswal told reporters here.
"I don't need certificate of probity from any party or leader. The people of this region will certify whether I am corrupt or not," he said.

I have two options. I can either make do with emailed statements. Or I can apply for a passbook. About the passbook, the email clearly said:

Today, I decided to give it a go. I went to my 'nearest branch' (Sector 31 Market Gurgaon) to get a passbook for my savings bank account. I was told that there were some technical problems and only this branch right now was not able to provide passbooks to customers. I was told to visit any other branch where I could get a passbook on the spot.

I decided to take it one step further. I went to another branch of ICICI Bank (Civil Lines Gurgaon). There I was told that I can only get a passbook from the branch where I have my account.

I decided to do exactly that. I went to the branch where my account was located (Sector 14 Gurgaon). Was told… I can leave the application and come back after a week or so to collect my passbook. I was not amused by this. I asked for more details. Was told that only the home branch has the powers to update my passbook so I would have to deal with them.

Not exactly what ICICI Bank indicated in their initial mail.

I did the next best thing. I applied to transfer my account from that branch to the one nearest to my home.

This process would take three days. The bank representative at the local branch had told me that it would take them at least 2 weeks to start distributing passbooks again.

So well… The waiting begins.

"AAP has added the names of Sonia Gandhi and Narendra Modi in the list of corrupt leaders as they are leading their parties of corrupt politicians," he told the media, adding the AAP will field candidates against both the "corrupt" leaders.
Yadav also said the AAP wants to put an end to the "dynastic" and "hate politics" by both the leaders.
AAP leader Gopal Rai said both Gandhi and Modi were corrupt than other leaders and it (their inclusion in the list) "has nothing to do with their popularity among the people".
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Friday read out a list of "corrupt leaders" from many political parties. The list included some union ministers.
Kejriwal also said his party will field candidates against politicians who were corrupt, have criminal records and those representing dynastic politics.

Has Anyone used (tried) , the 8 mbps plan in Mulund East (Mithagar) Area ? This plan is being offered on normal DSL . Does it give promised speed ? 

I think I am exactly 1 km travel wise from the exchange but I am not sure how to measure 1 km ? Is it the length of the line or something ?

Hi, Today i have purchased bsnl evdo modem(prithvi and ruim sim) from bsnl........I have read on the website that when a new user purchase modem from bsnl they give him first month unlimited data in 350rs......but they did not give me unlimited data at this price......they told me to recharge of 20rs for validity and the 800rs something for unlimited monthly pack.........they told me that i have filled 750rs pack in form they provided me.......I told him that bsnl give unlimited to new user for 350rs......they said its called general plan and told me that you have not asked for it...............now i have to pay extra 500rs even i am new evdo user........i have not recharged in my sim yet....it will activate tonight...........please tell me what to do can i still get unlimited in 350rs.................if not then tell me if i return them data card then would they give me security fees back which is 1199rs ...........or they will not give or deduct some amount.........please tell me i am robbed by bsnl
