no nasties deals and discount coupons Posted: 19 Nov 2013 11:38 AM PST they seem to have a coupon system. from what i have seen, these are offered on social media to potential customers.
as for sales. they seem to have 2-3 products on sale at any given time. i think these are changed twice a month.
right now these three are available at a discounted price of Rs. 399. shipment is 75 rupees per 1/2 t-shirt.

I wish ICICI Bank had a sense of design on their website. Their branches are quite nice but their website is horrible. |

Information about Honesty Net Solutions Posted: 19 Nov 2013 10:22 AM PST I wanted to opt for either fivenet or 1&1. Both are unavailable in my area. Now, local cablewala provides Honesty. And, he quoted unlimited 2Mbps plan for 1599 rs/ month, and 15000 rs/ annum. I liked the plan of 4Mbps @Rs. 1100, for 50GB, it is a prepaid plan inclusive of taxes.I dont know the tariffs of Honesty, it is not given on their website as well. if you could tell what the tariffs are or how to contact honesty, if I want to try to get connection directly from them, if they do so? |
Posted: 19 Nov 2013 10:22 AM PST My struggles start now. Got plan migrated today and when I got back from work noticed that migration happened successfully but speed is still at 3.4mbps. Gotta do some running around to get the speed upgraded now... Kids were cribbing about video and audio stutter on YouTube and Internet radio, so had to take the plunge... |
New Locality Broadband Crisis. Help! Posted: 19 Nov 2013 10:21 AM PST I've been struggling to find a broadband connection here in Mukherjee Nagar (110009). My apartments (DDA) are relatively new - that may be a reason why I can't find a broadband connection. :\ All I am asking for is a ~1Mbps connection for under 1K per month. My attempts have been futile so far. Paid MTNL an advance amount of 500 already about 6 months back. No word from them after paying them the advance amount. Tried contacting Tikona - filled in their form online, also called their customer care. No response whatsoever. Other ISP plans haven't convinced me to contact them. I've been considering IPTV by Airtel, but read about degradation of their services. Please suggest some ISPs that can give me an affordable plan and a good service, specifically for my area. Thanks. |
Two different IP, both not pingable Posted: 19 Nov 2013 10:09 AM PST Idea 3G is working perfect. USB internet key (netsetter) connected to 3G router (router enabled wireless and 4nos. RJ45 Ethernet port all working perfect). But in internet status on router page shows one WAN IP at the same time while checking thru website (http://www.whatismyip.com/) IP showing different numeric (Both are IPV4 format). Both are not pingable from external computers. I'm using this internet connectivity to access my DVR remotely. Since WAN IP is not pingable, my requirement does not meet. I made lots of conversation with IDEA but helpless. Can someone help me in this regard? |
Posted: 19 Nov 2013 10:08 AM PST Amazon has a pretty cool program. If you start shopping through http://smile.amazon.com/ Amazon donates a percentage of your order value to your pick of charity.
Does not work on Amazon.in though. |
Posted: 19 Nov 2013 09:55 AM PST Hello everyone, first time poster here.
I am located in thane west and have been using 5net for about 3 months now. The main reason i switched over to 5net from my tata indicom adsl was the torrent speeds. I always used to get 900kB/s fro popular torrents and even 7-8 MB/s for more popular torrents. Later i discovered that it is due to BtCache/ CacheBT.. BtCache/CacheBT no longer shows up in the peer list for the currently downloading torrents (as many of you might know.. this is a network caching cluster of fivenet which provides such amazing speeds... simply put.. local torrent caching)
i can see however that youtube still works good for 720 even 1080p videos(i.e youtube is still cached)
has fivenet stopped torrent caching?? any one else facing a similar issue?? a call to my lco got me this response "Everything is fine"

Checked out Dell India website. Even the crappy configurations are priced at around 35K (including LCD etc). I am guessing I would have to get a custom unit? :\ |
