A Burger King PR stunt publicized Wednesday is doing the trick -- there's a lot of social media buzz about the fast food giant's supposed name change to "Fries King."

Burger King said in a release Thursday that restaurants in Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami will operate under that name for a limited time.

Burger King's website shows a redone company logo. An abstract, upright pouch of french fries replaces the familiar, stylized hamburger, and the words "Fries King" appear over the logo in place of "Burger King." It's all rendered in the same style, colors and roughly same dimensions as the "old" logo.

Below the logo comes this attention-getter: "Formerly Burger King."

Twitter users are weighing in on the marketing campaign under #friesking.

BURGER KING: Concocts lower-cal 'Satisfries'

Incredible coincidence alert: Burger King's move comes at the same time the company is rolling out revamped French fries that it says are healthier than ordinary ones.

Dubbed "Satisfries," they have 30% less fat and 20% fewer calories than Burger King's regular fries -- and 40% less fat and 30% fewer calories than McDonald's fries, USA TODAY reported last week.

But perhaps not all the PR in this case is positive, AdWeek's Tim Nudd writes.

"There are a few downsides to this. First, it implies the burgers are probably not very good. And second, it confuses people," he says in an article on Burger King's supposed name change.

But "it does appear to be making people hungry," he says.

UK supermarket giant Tesco has a product listing and box art for currently unannounced Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The listings cover Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms, though the Xbox 360 listing has already been removed. The PlayStation 3 listing remains at time of writing, however.

As well as outing both the unrevealed game and what is believed to be the official box art, the merchant's product listing also claimed that the sequel will be "built on an entirely new story, setting, and cast, all powered by a next-generation Call of Duty engine".

HYDERABAD: Eleven days after TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao began an indefinite fast for Telangana, the Centre on Wednesday announced that the process of formation of a separate state was being set into motion and that a resolution to this effect would be moved in the Andhra Pradesh assembly shortly. Last but not least is the Nubia 5, which can be yours for $450. This one is a bit interesting, as ZTE tells us that this model is different from the Nubia Z5, although most of the specs (and its overall look) are the same. Earlier today a kind anonymous tipster shared the above product shot of a ZTE Z753, which is allegedly the Chinese manufacturer's contribution to the ever-growing list of five-inch 1080p devices -- including those from HTC, Sharp, Oppo and eventually Nubia, Huawei, Lenovo plus Sony.
