It's happening... We are all going to die! Posted: 01 Jun 2012 11:23 AM PDT The way the things are going, u wont need that many years for a catastrophe to occur! Yesterday i was watching a short show on Discovery HD.......and what they said made lots of sense - today the World is at 7 billion mark on the headcount of Humans. Few years down the line it will be 9-10 million. But water resources arent enough to provide Drinking water to all of them. To tackle this, u require purification plants to be setup......which will require enormous fuel to generate the power. Fossil Fuels are already depleting & it will deplete at a faster rate if its usage is increased in this manner. Overuse of fossil fuels also causes more & more pollution, and green house effect. That will lead us to using even more power! So thats a vicious circle. If we use alternative sources....then Windmills & solar panels would be needed. That would eat up lots of space, which totally not feasible since already there will be land crunch due to increased accomodation & food requirements of the increased population. This from my brain now - If u use Nuclear plants, then well its a sitting duck in countries like India & Pakistan, where the Leaders give a damn to security. Leave them aside, u would have the contractors themselves using substandard material to build these plants & hence causing serious hazards, even before anti-social elements try to take undue advantage of it. So the big question - Where to stop this cycle? If its not stopped, the World is collapsing. U dont need any Doomsday predictions......coz Atheists and even many Theists wont believe in that. U just need simple logic to see where the World is heading towards! |

Satyamev Jayate from Aamir Khan Posted: 01 Jun 2012 10:24 AM PDT There is one basic difference between medicine and any other profession. Doctors deal with lives. So unlike any other profession any mistake on their part will lead them to gallows either by law or public or media. Irrespective of the fact whether that mistake was because of chance of incompetence. |
Anyone here who has been FUPed this month? Posted: 01 Jun 2012 10:20 AM PDT I have learnt my lesson years ago and now I always copy the message to clipboard before hitting Submit. |
Posted: 01 Jun 2012 10:11 AM PDT Free Roaming , 2mbps minimum speed and National/Full Mobile Number Portability will be implemented before May 2014 as UPA will the encashing the implementation in General Elections :p :D - - - Updated - - - Now Some Serious Matter . Quote: The Cabinet on Thursday cleared a proposal to allow free roaming across the country as part of the new telecom policy. It also endorsed full number portability, under which a subscriber could use the same mobile phone number in any part of the country, even after changing operators. At present, Mobile Number Portability (mobile number portability) is applicable within a circle. Roaming charges at present are roughly double the call charges. Department of Telecom (DoT) officials clarified there was no timeline for implementation and the final call would be taken by the government, depending on “market forces” in the sector. |
