Sun Direct DTH: Switching from Tatasky to Sun Direct Posted: 17 Jan 2012 01:11 PM PST Hello friends, i have been using Tata sky for the last 4 years. Though I do not have any complaint on the service or availability, i am pissed off at the way the number of malaylam channels have been reduced. When i initially took the connection, there were about 8 channels, and now it has reduced to only 4! and they did this reduction even with out informing us. Now iam planning to switch to Sun direct, and would like to have the views of the people over here on the same. How is SD's service and do they also resort to such dropping of channels with out any advance notice? Tatasky has an issue with signal loss even during slight rain also, is the problem with SD as well? Any other information if you can provide would be greatly appreciated, especially regarding the malayalam channels. Thank you all :) |
Posted: 17 Jan 2012 01:02 PM PST @ whizkins, you can try dropping in an email at deadsl@bol.net.in mailing on this ID was very effective when i had MTNL for getting speed, login issue's sorted out, do copy the mail to the gm/ceo etc and mention the compliant no's of previously lodged complaints as well. The Network operations centre of MTNL broadband is Kidwai Bhawan, it would do you good to contact some broadband person there and talk to him regarding your problem, you should be able to find the relevant no's on the MTNL website. |
Net Neutrality on this forum ?JOKE it is... Posted: 17 Jan 2012 12:48 PM PST All right here is my 2 cents....i don't think there will be any debate after this :) Do you think it will be a blow, If mud is all that people will throw, To cause nothing but woe, To show that IBF has gone so low, No no no it will not be so. IBF will always grow, Even though it might be a little slow. I came here long time ago, Seen many changes with the flow. Therefore Fair is the title i shall bestow, Upon whom else but Sushubh for those who know, for those who don't, Chromaniac our very own John Doe!!!!!! |

Unique Identification Authority of India: National ID Cards in India! (Aadhaar) Posted: 17 Jan 2012 11:28 AM PST Quote: PIL seeks to scrap Nandan Nilekani's Aadhar project - Economic Times CHENNAI: Describing the process of preparing all-purpose Aadhar identity cards as illegal, a PIL filed in the Madras High Court has sought to scrap the project, saying personal and biometric details of citizens are being collected without the permission of Parliament. When the petition filed by S Raju of Vriddhachalam in Cuddalore district came up for admission today, the first bench comprising Chief Justice M Y Eqbal and Justice K B K Vasuki declined to stay functioning of the Unique Identity Authority of India (UIDAI) but issued notice to the Centre, Tamil Nadu government and UIDAI. the judges refused to stay id project even there is no law. god help us. At the same time its sadenning to see , that a project with no backing of any legal framework is allowed to mess with citizens biometrics , privacy by exploiting the innocents with false information , cant even be given a "CEASE" order !! |
