You can now ask for your credit history and credit score from Cibil! Posted: 31 Dec 2011 01:18 PM PST WTF ... So n number of companies keep approaching me to take their CCs so does that mean my credit score will be hit everytime??? That really does not seem logical... So a company I have no connection with & whose service I have never ever used can still bring down my credit score??? Would be really stupid if it is true... |

5mbps @ 1000 Till 16GB and then 512kbps From ACT BROADBAND Posted: 31 Dec 2011 12:25 PM PST Quote: Hi obsolutely nothing wrong in the question, we are offering the fiber to the home (FTTH) technology which allows one to deliver higher bandwidths based on customre requirements. So at the customer premise we provide fiber switch from which a copper (RJ45) cable is pulled to the laptop or desktop as RJ45 is the only interface available today in all the laptops & desktops. This is common practice worldwide even countries like Japan & Korea which offers highest bandwidth to users. Hope I clarified your concern. |
Beetel 110BXI modem disconnect/restart problem - Airtel Posted: 31 Dec 2011 12:11 PM PST Solved! (I suppose) vjprakashbe Yes. the link was dropping off frequently and was reconnecting. I recalled the technician today and he visited my home. he tried to puncture the reset button behind the modem and it didn't reset. he right away said its modem fault. i countered him saying, connect the same line with a working modem and show that the link doesn't drop off. he did the same and yes to my surprise his modem link didn't drop off for more than 10 minutes. he said its modem fault. replace it and left home. then i took the pin again and attemped to reset the modem again and yes it got reset. after this all the settings were lost and now i found the link to be stable. i called up airtel and they told the username and password and after getting all set, the modem is working fine. even now i am not sure how long it willl go properly. will post after sometime if this really solved the problem. but for the past 2 - 3 hours its perfectly stable. ---------- did they try with some other modem and find if it is stable in that? |

Posted: 31 Dec 2011 10:36 AM PST Quote: it was suspended for over 1.5 years. By BSNL ? or you disconnected BB connection. Did you surrender the modem? ( if on rent ) No. Your IP will be 117.xx.xx.xx and you will get a new USERID PW. If any security deposit still in your account, will be adjusted against NEW connection. For usage check new Portal ID , PW get it from exchange. Portal data.bsnl.in ( email ID/PW can be obtained from BB section/your exchange ) No I did not surrender modem, there was some billing issue and I stopped paying, and they suspended the account. Now only I got it settled and resumed. I have already taken care of the deposits and carry overs. IP - i guess earlier also it was 117.xx.xx.xx. Thanks, will get new portal ID from them. |
