Fractional reserve banking india - Need Advice. Posted: 22 Dec 2011 10:38 AM PST Naveen, ur looking at it from a point of view of "this wrong" and how can this be allowed to continue. Haha I had the exact same feeling when I watched zeitgeist lol. But that's like a mouse saying "why is all the food inside a mousetrap, can't the humans see I'll get hurt if I try to take it" lol. You are thinking "this is wrong" and that they should do something about it, whereas they have put their time and energy into purposely creating the system the way it is.(like a guy setting up a mouse trap with a smile) if people start protesting, they'll simply come up with bullshit and advertising campaigns and convince the people that the system actually serves them. Like airtel saying "99% bandwith is used by 1% people" and then calling their fake unlimited plans as "fair" usage policy. The masses simply go on thinking they are being treated fairly where as the schollars are left to talk about it on internet forums ;) |
Posted: 22 Dec 2011 10:26 AM PST Asus one for gaming, Sony for everything else or an MBA/MBP for total nirvana! But that's not really the laptops fault. I dropped it on the floor more than a few occasions and frankly am surprised how did it manage to work for almost 6 years after all those drops :o So here's my dilemma. Now I'm sort of interested in PC gaming. Not sure if I'll ever play any games but still I want to own a gaming laptop. And for gaming, macs are pretty much useless. Can't even get a GPU in a MacBook which doesn't cost $1800 minimum, which is wayyyy out of my budget. But I also can't imagine myself going back to windows again. That will be a nightmare for me. But still want to give it a try. So could anyone suggest a good gaming laptop which doesn't cost a bomb? So far I've only found one option. Dell XPS 15 with i7, 540m GPU for about 58k. That's already stretching my budget to the macbook level but I have a friend of a friend in dell who might be able to get me 10-15% discount on list price. But the real problem is that dell India doesn't allow you add a better GPU in XPS. I would have minded paying 5-6k extra if I cold just swap that 540m fr 560m. Are there any other options for apps 60k with 560m? Also don't want anything bigger than 15 inch. Would actually prefer it to be 13 or 14 inch. Don't even mind getting the i5 either since that will still be fast enough for me and it's the GPU which would make a real diff in gaming. Any suggestions? (sorry for the long rant) -- Edit: oh cool. Strike bb code works in these forums. Now it should be easier to differentiate between the rant and the query :o |
