Nissan launches its "Sunny" sedan for India. Posted: 18 Dec 2011 12:49 PM PST Quote:
Quote: That too when its own Petrol variant comes in at 99bhp!! ( and going by what reviews say, is a horrible car to drive in the city..) Quote: Yes , its great they have launched a Diesel variant ; but its not the same VFM as its own petrol variant nor can it beat the other Diesels in that segment. Quote: Heck, even the Fiat Linea MJD is 93+ ! You cannot jump across different engine types, variants, displacements, sizes and across different vehicle categories having different prices and make a generalised statement that a particular car is woefully underpowered. If i were to do that most Indian cars would fall short of cars being sold in europe/USA and would be grossly underpowered when compared to them. This is not in support of sunny in any way, but saying that its underpowered would be a wrong statement when compared to similar cars in its class |
NIXI root cause for implementation of <<<***FUP***>>> by all major Indian ISP's Posted: 18 Dec 2011 12:22 PM PST After reading the whole 4 pages thread i went to NIXI website to brush off my rusted knowledge on how internet works . What i was really confused was with the statement which stated "NIXI does not facilitates the data transfer, instead it only facilitates the route advertising". Under such circumstances how NIXI is able to calculate the inward / outward traffic and then collect settle the amounts with respective ISP's ? More Queries ! If i have 1Gbps of Bandwidth at my disposal for which i am already paying to my Telco with a Transit of 100TB Outwards / 50 TB Inwards and i go for NIXI peering would i end up paying 10/Gb for 50TB of difference traffic to NIXI who will in turn settle the amount with respective ISP's ? |

What would you do with a 100mbit/s or 1Gbit/s connection? Posted: 18 Dec 2011 10:54 AM PST Tough Questions to Answer ! But will try to answer it ! 1. Rsync and Host all of the Linux ISO / Packages so i need not have to worry about downloading them everytime . Maybe kid next door will also benefit from my local mirror. 2. A Private FTP to host my data so that i can access them remotely. 3. A Private Website to store my pictures & videos and share with my family . I got tons of those and can't manage on CD / DVD's 4. Community Game Servers Localized to my choice and area. My needs are pretty fulfilled .... |

Recommended Google Android Apps Posted: 18 Dec 2011 10:50 AM PST ::ONLY FOR ROOTED PHONES:: For those who want to play prank on open wifi connections like colleges etc. here's an app. It's called Wifikill. What it does is it can disable the internet connection of all the nodes/selected nodes connected to the wifi network that you're connected to. Very cool app, and works like a charm. Here's the XDA link for the same: [App] WifiKill - disable internet for network hoggers - xda-developers |
