De Tomaso Deauville – Click above for high-res image gallery SLS or SLC? Neither. De Tomaso has pulled back the Geneva Motor Show wraps on its all-new model, and the four-door shall be known, officially, as the Deauville. If you’re experiencing a bit of déjà vu, that’s because the Italian automaker is resurrecting that particular moniker from its 1970s catalog, when it was attached to a much svelter creature than this rather odd looking sedan. The five-passenger aluminum chassis’d sedan features a 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 under the hood producing 300-horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque from 2,000 to 5,000 rpm. Gear shifts are handled courtesy of a six-speed automatic transmission and power is sent out to all four wheels. The powertrain combination propels the Deauville to a limited top speed of 155 miles per hour, and helps it make the run from 0-60 mph in 6.7 seconds.
