everybody stop using honesty till they provide dc++
their net sucks and not providing lan in thane :S
so if they dont provide lan dont use honest in short

yep honesty net solution is not so honest beacuse my honesty net conneciton speed has reduced and there is also no dc++ and lan on honesty so pls start lan or else increase our net speed
then everyone here wil say honesty is honesy otherwise u have no right to is honesty is honesty is the wrong name u are using for isp service...

If there's one thing I dislike about certain organizations, it's the insistance that they call up outside of working hours. I've put my foot down to a couple of different superiors of my Mrs when I was last in India - when she's out of work, it's her time (or us time), and calling her up during these times is nothing short of rudeness. Unless it's life and death urgent, then whatever trivial thing they're calling for can wait until she is back in the office.

I've asked at least twice already - both by phone and by email - I'm sure they will send me something at some point, because I know that they haven't taken any thus far, and to get these photos is going to require a special trip on their part, and so I am willing to wait patiently until they have taken the photos I've asked for, because nagging is not going to make it happen faster, but it will irritate people.

It dosent hv those problem any more. I am using it for the past 7 months now. Initially I had some problems, but now it work flawlessly. The Tariffs are also good.

Videocon D2h didn't meet their commitment to install on Friday. I escalated to Mr. Vineet. Nice gentleman, called me immediately. Since I wasn't available home today, requested for installation tomorrow. Hope it goes thru.

is it BB Home Unlimited 499 -- then you need to pay 499 + regular rental which is around 180 = 680

i will suggest you think about the BB Home Combo Unlimited 625 .. here you don't need to pay anything extra rental and you will get 100 call free ..

months .. depends .. here it takes about 2-3 months .. so depend upto the availability of the modem .. which your local telephone exchange able to advise

Please dont go for Tata sky... their after sales service will drive you crazy... i am suffering so much. the worst part is that their is no way you can reach them.... I am waiting for so many days to reinstall my tata sky for the last one week and all they do is give me falls promises... and this is not the first time... it has happened twice earlier

Im looking to buy a Phone/Fax for the office. We will have 20-30 fax only in a month.
Sending and receiving. So, not that much usage.

I was looking at HP® 640 Inkjet Plain-Paper Fax .

MTNL gateway problems?

There are two MTNL gate ways im aware of that is:
192.168.0.1 and
192.168.32.1

the first one is good but constant disconnections ever 5-6hrs or so. the second one has less disconnections but less speed and non functional dns. does anyone know how to solve this problem or a better gateway? Also after 2'o clock everyday there are disconnections for no apparent reason. Please help my gaming gets interrupted:(

Never disputed the overwhelming user base of Windows percentage wise, but this thing with Windows applications and features requiring administrative privileges also adds to the security risk. Of course, a savvy user like yourself who knows his way around the net, and knows where the traps lie, may well get by without an anti-virus, but it's not within the scope of the average user. Now as a Linux user i am not much more than a noob, but i can click away with gay abandon on any damn thing and still be certain that my root is not going to be affected unless i give that privilege with my password knowingly. afak the proxy 100.1.200.99 is only for airtelfun.com apn (WAP access). so therez dnt use it.

Just write airtelgprs.com and leave the proxy nd port fields blank.

IN CASE it doesnt works for you try proxy 202.56.231.117 with port 8080.

Felt the same way when I bought my HDTV. Unfortunately India still uses the 4:3 ratio since most people haven't yet migrated to 16:9 widescreen TV's. There's nothing you can do about it :(
