Submit your 3g speed every day Posted: 05 Jan 2011 12:23 PM PST yesterday had a Talk with GM (mobile) BSNL of our region and requested him to escalate the issue, he said he's already working to restore the speeds. Today after many hours of 3G blackout, finally 3G came back to life, speed seems to have improved but not to 3G mark yet. Let me call him tomorrow and ask for ETA. |

3G data plan without buying datacard from BSNL? Posted: 05 Jan 2011 12:16 PM PST Cheetah, You can recharge for 4200/- and get the plan, currently Data Roaming is free, But confirm from BSNL office before you spend such huge amount. Remember roaming plan can be modified at later date, as lots of private operators are coming up, nobody knows what they'll modify at a later date. to be on safer side, use the SIM from region you happen to live most of the time, this way you'll minimize the chances of getting charged for roaming. |

FAST broadband for business in Khar West for transfers to/from UK Posted: 05 Jan 2011 11:23 AM PST Anyone here know of a company that will provide a Khar West office with reliable, fast internet connection? Need to shift big files between Mumbai and UK. Really need symmetrical 4mbps at a minimum. I've had lots of fun trying to get various telco services to talk to me in London - emails and phone calls are usually met with don't knows or no replies or often "Not available in Mumbai" Branch office is currently relying on slow Tata Infinity 750 and 1.5 Will consider all solutions. ALTERNATIVELY, and slightly off-topic, are there any file cloud services like Amazon's S3 that have edge servers in India? Thanks |

Ugly experience with Nivyah Broadband - Frauds with Fake Plans Posted: 05 Jan 2011 11:08 AM PST Quote: Last I checked nobody is forcing you to take a connection from us, and if you don't like what we have to offer, then with the utmost respect I request that you never take a connection from us and I welcome you to continue with your current selection of providers. While I look forward to disappointing you and becoming a commercial success throughout all aspects of the business, this thread is not the place to be talking about it, as we have nothing whatsoever to do with Nivyah Broadband in any way shape or form. |
