Congo? Kya? I don't understand - I'll let Airtel/Zain take care of Africa.

Billing in MB would be silly, especially at these speeds.

I don't get the nature of the question. Of course we must acquire connectivity to the rest of the world which costs money, but we are also building our own infrastructure between our offices and your house... which also costs money. So I guess the answer would be... both?

Airtel Increases its GPRS charges w.e.f 5th jan 2011

Posted: 02 Jan 2011 11:49 AM PST

Ok, As admin said earlier, Airtel has increased the pricing for Rs.98 pack now.

Today my modem SIM didn't got auto renewed, when i tried checking the Bandwidth Balance i got
Quote:

Send:*123*10#
Receive:Invalid Account Selection
They dropped the earlier subscription which was auto debited from my balance every month, so i sent another request for activation and got this

Quote:

Send:*567*1#
Receive:Activation Zone
1.GPRS @Rs.10(100MB/day)
2.GPRS @Rs.19(200MB/3day)
3.GPRS @Rs.35(500MB/6day)
4.GPRS @Rs.60(1GB/14day)
Enter your choice no:
So instead of 2GB @ Rs.98 you are now left with Rs.60/14 days plan, which means you need to recharge for 14 day back more than twice a month.

WikiLeaks Cablegate

SPIEGEL: Is it acceptable that Amazon, PayPal and others boycott WikiLeaks?

De Maizière: If this occurs under pressure from the US government, I don't think it is acceptable. If a company freely decides to do so, then that is a corporate decision, but it is also politically problematic.
The assumption ppl make is those companies cut of wikileaks under US govt pressure. But its never been shown that was indeed the case. If the US gov tried the media would have a field day ;)

Which is the best Android Phone- Budget Max 15000/-

Posted: 02 Jan 2011 10:19 AM PST

Btw, the Nokia v Android battle didnt reach any final conclusion.....

I too am a Nokia loyalist, but now with closing down of my regular supplier of Symbian Apps - Dotsis.com - i am feeling as if there's nothing left in Nokia.

I mean we all know we can manipulate with the phone to run Unregistered apps on it - which was available easily over there.....

But now with that site closed, i am thinking of shifting to any Android phone when i buy 1......coz the only question that comes to me is - How can i "manipulate" to get the Unregistered apps running on it??

To add to it, a friend of mine - who too was a kind of Nokia fan jumped on to Galaxy 3 very recently.....thats now really creating doubts in my mind - Nokia or Android??

PS: I also know that both are different fields altogether.....but the general battle is between the 2 right now!!

Fed up of Ten Cricket?? See this Thread!!

Dont feel so yaar!! Coz still its appearing pixelated, and at times the screen "Breaks" as if the glass of the TV is shattered to pieces......only 1 improvement - the screen isnt getting stuck which it used to - for about 20-30 seconds.
