guys tell about sundirect experience, positive &negative aspects, overall rating & feedback....... Posted: 21 Dec 2010 12:06 PM PST sundirect really is a worst service when is comes to customer service. they made a satellite change and broadcast a message as to contact them as they will send an engineer for disc reallignment but iam contqctiong them from 2 months, every time they create a call request number and mention as will be contaxcted in 3 days, but no one reallybothers to come. i paid 2 months of charity money for sun direct...... still my issue is not sorted, if any one thinks that its cheap, yes you are right, but if u have issues with service, remeber the initial amount you pay is wasted, they willl not help....service really is freeaky... better to throw the dish in in a ditch |

Aircel Stops its UNLIMITED Pocket Internet Service Posted: 21 Dec 2010 11:09 AM PST Quote: good thing i decided to switch to airtel last week. i know i get 2GB for 98 bucks. i am fine with it. at least the speeds are much better compared to aircel. i bet in delhi you cannot even consume 2GB in a month on aircel even if you tether it with a computer. the whole experience would result in a balder you. But, I think in terms of speed, Reliance beats all others. From, What I have experienced on my and my friends' mobile Aircel - 10-12KB/s Airtel - 25-26KB/s Reliance - 34-35KB/s (nearly 44-45KB/s when you are around their headquarters :P ) And in Reliance you get 2.5GB of usage @ Rs.99 ( CC told me its 3GB :confuse: ) |
My experience with Samsung Mobile Customer Care. Posted: 21 Dec 2010 11:00 AM PST I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy 3 i5801 mobile. This is my first Samsung mobile, I was a Nokia fanboy, but the sluggish Symbian OS made me think again when I was planning for a new mobile. As you all know, Android powered devices have a very bad battery life. So I was thinking about buying a spare battery for my phone. I was browsing through the Samsung website to find out whether there is a battery charger for charging spare batteries ( My Dad had a Samsung SGH-X820 which had a spare battery as well as spare battery charger made by Samsung). I know there are chinese chargers available which can charge any mobile battery (popularly known as 'Kekda Charger' in Mumbai), but I don't trust these products as it may damage the battery easily. There were many models of battery chargers available on their Indian website, viz. BCH180, ABCC700, ABCC720, BCH535 and BCH292, but the space under 'Supported phones' were blank. Therefore I used their 'Contact us' link to put a query. After two days I got a reply from Samsung telling me to visit the nearest Authorized Service Centre to clear this query. I can't understand why do I need to visit Service Center for such a simple query. So I called up Samsung Customer Care on their toll free number. I explained them everything and they transferred the line to the so called 'Technical Department'. They guy who answered my call was amazed to hear about this. I think he was hearing about this for the first time. He also told me to visit Service Centre for this query. Finally I asked them the telephone number of the Service Centre, and called them up. As expected, they said they have never heard about any battery chargers available by Samsung. They don't even have the battery of this phone available with them. My query still remains.... So my experience with Samsung Customer Care was not so good. Their website too is not updated. The people handling the customer care doesn't have enough information for this simple query. Hope that they will enhance the quality of services rendered by them, and also update their website. |

Posted: 21 Dec 2010 10:47 AM PST Okay found that T-Mobile software use *99***2# *99***3# and *99***4# to connect . Try to connect from T-Mobile software first, then after connection is successfully made, check the number it used for making connection from dialup properties. and use that number in Mobile Connect. it will connect. I'm posting my observation as it is coming to me. But at least connection is made :P |

Confused Regional ala-carte Packages Posted: 21 Dec 2010 10:22 AM PST I always wonder why Dish TV has such a confusing Regional ala-carte package for its customers.... I am a subscriber for Dish TV South Platinum...and really face difficulty when I have to choose all those channels from the ala-carte packages... For a subsciber from Kerala, who prefers Malayalam Channels, why they have Malayalam 1 and Malayalam 2 packages...and they both have Telugu Channels included in that..sounds really funny...wonder maybe the guys sitting at Dish TV don't know about the languages....same is the case with other South Indian Languages.... Why they can't club all Malayalam Channels in one package and offer....so if somebody from Tamil as the base package wants to opt for Malayalam, he will get both Tamil and Malayalam complete channels at an extra cost....now its confusing between Tamil 1, Tamil 2, Malayalam 1, Malayalam 2.....wonder they will keep on increasing the numbers... :o In spite of several mails to Dish TV Customer Care....I never got any positive reply from them....except those friendly automated replies from their system......:wall: |
