Airtel harassment, scam, invading privacy, airtel bharti sucks, ripoff Posted: 17 Dec 2010 01:16 PM PST This is what I have been doing. Called 121 several times and got complaint number. Called Nodal office so many times but officer by name Meenakshi Bora never came on phone and was promised by their junior staff that she will call back, never got any call from her. Sent email to Appellate and nodal officer, just got canned emails so far. I have not seen such horrible company in my life. Customer service is all about sending canned messages and ranting same lines what they have been trained while employing them. There is no real help. The matter will be forwarded to TRAI and legal consultants. |

Airtel Mobile: Automatic subscription to paid VAS bullshit #airtelsucks Posted: 17 Dec 2010 11:14 AM PST Quote: Do one thing. sms STOP to 121 or dial *121# - You'll get a list of all VAS that are currently active on your number. Then reply to that message according to instructions to deactivate. I know this sucks but you gotta do it yourself. Airtel's not gonna do it for you. Huh? |

Local ISPs providing really unlimited download Posted: 17 Dec 2010 10:52 AM PST Ya, exactly. Very unreliable connection. The thing will probably go down when there's a power cut in your area. I wouldn't go for local ISP. I might try it sometime in the future but I'm not sure. :notallowed: |
Telecom Scandal: What connects where and how Posted: 17 Dec 2010 10:50 AM PST This is the image taken from Outlook. (Gives you an enlarged version). This is as scary as it gets. For full scare horror (and perhaps shock at how the rot permeates through the polity) check here. Previous coverage and scope (…)Read the rest of this entry » Telecom Scandal: What connects where and how |
Posted: 17 Dec 2010 10:50 AM PST I have been having a very interesting exchange of ideas with Mathew Carley who is the owner of Hayai Broadband. He needs no introduction on the forums and I owe a lot of good deal to him. However, I must (…)Read the rest of this entry » Response to comments |
