I think it is a website problem da...I had the same problem ...bought a new 3g data card......tried to do 4200 recharge online and got your same error message...I tried again after a few hours and VOLLA it worked!!!:happy:

After you enter your no. you gotto give a click just outside the box where you entered your number and wait for it to load dude...and then it will show the options....

1.yes u can buy evdo modem from outside, and evdo RUIM from bsnl seperately.
2. evdo[cdma] and 3g[gsm] r different technology. u cant use ur evdo modem as 3G modem.

Suggest which DTH I should buy ?

Yes, its really surprising that Tatasky is still charging so high for least number of channels.

Is Tatasky having LEAST number of channels amoong all 6 private DTH ? Still it is most costly, WHY ?

Try the modem with Gujarat sim...and I'm sure it'll work in West and South zone for sure
