What about Farmville? Can it really access all the profile information which only so far I can see (I believe).
I saw in its activity that Farmville accessed my profile info, Likes, Friend's list, Birthday. Is it harmful? can removing FarmVille remove all information which they already have?

I am new to BSNL Broadband connection. I have bought BD 370 Sony blu Ray Player. It offers to play internet video streaming to my TV without PC. i believe I have to configure username and username to my type 1 modem. How can I do it. At present I access broadband connection using a dialer.
The Common qus thread no 6 says the same thing but does not elaborate

Ok, I installed IW from Synaptic Manager. But what after that? How does IW help in Wireless Internet configuration. I didn't got any option to use IW in any menu option or under Addition Drivers.
(BTW sorry as I dont have knowledge in field of Linux, and I am using Ubuntu only for sake of learning & extra knowledge)

About router, it is placed near Cordless phone base, but would that affect, as it works fine with Windows for WiFi. And again these router is shared by my other friends who would not want me to experiment and loose their connectivity with Internet, so I cant change/modify any settings in router (which works fine with Windows) :D

The most interesting thing is the SLA's they have 48 hrs for connectivity restoration (wireless :P) ..For speed issues they take 3 weeks or more..yeah!!! they will work on it on and on......

After 3 months of waiting ...the magician appeared on sept15 he told he has realigned the dish....the signal strength was 60%... I got more channels and was happy...
Suddenly last week there were some channels missing.. Called up customer care...A complaint was registered assured resolution within 24 hrs,..No one turned till Yest,... i called again ,reply from customer care " we dont have ur address".I called up Jeekay(bangalore) no response...Guys...SUNDTH is a worry...never go for Annual mode payment!! Recharge as you go other wise you will have to wait endlessly..I have changed the transponder settings myself as below(thnks to Google Baba) ,still only 68 % signal (something is better than nothin)
