MTNL Triband Broadband disconnects every two hours? Posted: 23 Sep 2010 12:37 PM PDT |
Complain to TRAI about Airtel Fair Usage Policy #airtelsucks Posted: 23 Sep 2010 12:25 PM PDT I have also faced the same problem when i received the mail by Airtel saying : ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Customer, We thank you for being a valuable member of the Airtel family. As a constant endeavor to offer you a great Broadband experience, we at Airtel are continuously upgrading our network to deliver you a world class service and experience. We have analyzed the current bandwidth utilization trends of our Broadband customers and have observed that a very small number of users are using excessive amount of bandwidth. Such excessive bandwidth usage can result in an impaired broadband experience for you. We are committed to providing the best Broadband experience for our customers and in this endeavor we intend to stop abuse of connections by a few customers. Further, to enhance and enrich the Broadband experience of all our customers in this dynamic, rapidly evolving, fast growing medium of internet, we are introducing a Fair Usage Policy. According to the policy you will continue to get your current speed of 1 Mbps till 25 GB of usage in a bill cycle. Post reaching 25 GB your download speed will be 512 Kbps for the remaining days of the bill cycle. All other charges & rates in the plan remain unchanged and your plan will continue to be unlimited Kindly note, the speed rationalization on crossing the download threshold would be for the remainder of that bill cycle only. The speed would be automatically restored to the original level at the start of next bill cycle. We also recommend that you take the following precautions to ensure a seamless broadband experience: · Please switch off your modem/router after use · Please ensure that your PC has an updated anti-virus protection suite · If you are using a Wi-Fi network please ensure that it is protected by an encryption key to prevent unauthorized access and misuse For any queries please call us at 121 from your Airtel Fixed Line or 44444121 from other phones. You can also write to us at 121@airtel.in. Kindly mention your Airtel Fixed line number along with STD code in the subject line while you send an email to us for faster resolution. Warm Regards, Airtel Telemedia Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's very ridiculous when I have been assured the download limit 100 GB. Airtel are desperately cheating with their customers. Need to take some strict action against Airtel & if needed so please create on page in Facebook by opposing FUP policy. HOpe that will help to open Airtel eyes. Rgds, Mohit |

Posted: 23 Sep 2010 10:34 AM PDT I noticed a live rat in my car's boot today. Spent two hours finding it but failed. Took it to washers. They used that pressurized air thingy for 30 minutes. No luck. It is still somewhere inside the car because I still can find new shit on the floor mat. Anyone here had a similar experience? There is a mega thread at Team BHP related to this problem (mostly related to mice cutting wiring in the bonnet! How do you protect your car from rats? - Page 36 - Team-BHP Would try some of the remedies mentioned there. But there is little hope. |
