Expressing disappointment over the denial of a seat of his choice, an emotional Mr Singh told NDTV today, "My honour cannot be subject to trading." He broke down while speaking and added that "there has been encroachment upon the principles and ideologies of the BJP."
Mr Singh, 76, wanted to contest what is likely to be his last election, from Barmer, the constituency in Rajasthan where he was born. But the BJP ignored his request and instead decided to field Colonel (Retd) Sona Ram Choudhary, a former Congressman who recently joined the party.
Mr Singh has not confirmed yet whether he would contest as an independent candidate from Barmer.
Aiming to placate the senior leader and to play down the controversy, BJP president Rajnath told reporters, "He (Jaswant Singh) is a senior leader of the BJP and is highly respected. His esteem cannot be calculated by a mere ticket." His colleague Arun Jaitley added, "It is unfortunate that we could not adjust him. The party will find some other option for him."

Update: I called DE he said call to SDO I called to SDO he said call to Local SDO...now no one is giving me local sdo's number.

So I had bought something from snapdeal and as a promotion, they have emailed a code which gives you free 3GB Data on Aircel. Since I don't use Aircel, its useless for me. Let me know if someone wants it

So, I was about to move to Bangalore, and I heard some good reviews about BBNL, so I thought that I should give this a try too.

But I would need some more details on their 10Mbps Internet plan. I have read at some places that they are now having a FUP of 75GB on new users. Is this true. Also if this is true then what is the speed after FUP, this is really important.

If it is 2Mbps or 4Mbps then it is fine, anything lower than that should not be good as I am currently stuck with BSNL 0.5 Megabits connection and it is a pain in the ass. I can only watch YouTube Videos at 360p that too with hiccups.

So, what could be the reason for slow upstream data rate.Am i being synchronised at wrong upstream data rate OR there is some issue with my line.Yesturday i called the lineman he said line quality is acceptable and this issue maybe from backend.

Max upstream data rate i have seen so far is 312 kbps that too only once.

Hi frineds, On this march 20, I took a connection from airtel broadband in Bangalore city with the plan 899 for 15GB @ 4mbps with free wi-fi router. And I paid a total of 600 rs to their sales man,And he told me that the connection will be activated within 3 days. But upto yesterday,I didnt get any calls from Airtel and I think I am cheated by them.

But yesterday morning,they called me and informed me that such an offer is not available in my place.So I demanded for refund of my money and at that time they told me that it is not refundable,instead of that they could provide me a plan of 1199 for 25GB @ 4mbps. And they also added that they could provide me the same 899 plan which I requested after a month.Because 899 plan is not available for new customers.So I  agreed with them..

All I need to know that whether their promise is trustworthy or not...

Is anyone here who experienced such a migration in their plan within one month of a new connection..

Hey guys , I read a lot of posts on this forum with same issue , but none of them is providing complete solution , I got an Airtel HD+ DTH connection today , and I am having Avermedia Super 009 Tv tuner card for capturing . I am connected through Composite cable. and when I try to record videos from my tv tuner I am getting this error .

" this is for veiwing purpose only recording is prohibited "

Anyone tried PoE wifi router for Tikona?

At present I use two power supply points: one for PoE injector and another for wifi router.

Outdoor CPE --> Telenet PoE Injector --> Lan cable to Wifi router --> Wifi router --> Laptop, phone, tab etc

With PoE router I can remove the intermediate PoE injector where the cable from outdoor CPE gets into.

It will look like:

Outdoor CPE --> Cable direct to Wifi router --> Laptop, phone etc

Anyone has tried this and such PoE routers are available for home use (read cheap).

I have seen many having the problem setting up WIFI on hathway. I am using Dlink Dir 600 router. I am facing the same issue. I had called customer care but no luck.

Can anyone please help with the wifi setup for this new plan.

* Do we need to have configure router with static IP or have Dynamically?

* What about the mac address?
