| Hathway Docsis 3.0 50Mbps plans are available in Bangalore now Posted: 26 Mar 2014 12:25 PM PDT Hathway Cable & Datacom has launched a 50 Mbps broadband service, targeted at the mass market, on its Docsis 3.0 ultra high speed network. Docsis 3.0 is a widely deployed and dominant broadband network technology (capable of delivering speeds up to 1 gigabit) which powers leading broadband markets like USA, Korea and Europe.

| Posted: 26 Mar 2014 11:14 AM PDT My first suggestion was to get the Moto G. But the person is not so tech-savvy, and wants some 4-5 options to choose from including atleast one Windows one. As other factors like looks may also make a difference (Even the OS feel). "Brand" is not a must but another one option in that category would be nice.
Budget is 10K. Maybe 1k more. Thats another reason why Moto G is sort of kept as "will be considered" than a sure shot by him.

Already have seen Xolo A500S ,Xolo Q1100 with dad and hence decided to go to xolo again. Its not like there are many great phones under 10k. I have just installed a wireless router model TP Link TL-WR740N at a friend's place with whatever knowledge I have. I just want to know how one can check if someone else is using this router illegally to access the internet? As far as I know, I just open this page to access router settings in a web broswer 192.168.0.1 and click on the left on a link called DHCP Clients List and check whether all the listed MAC addresses belong to the pcs that I own. Am doing the right thing here? Suppose there is a MAC address that does not belong to any of my devices (pc, laptop, mobile) then I assume someone has hacked my wifi and he is using it illegally, am I right? Please guide me.
I have tried to attach a screenshot to help you understand as to how I check whether my wifi has been hacked or not and/or whether someone is using it illegally. Bu I have failed to do so. Help me out. Thanks a lot.

From the last 2 month, im not getting any channel. when I contact my LCO, they told to us we have not link to hathway from the last three month becos they demand more money. Now My LCO link with Mirai communication.
So im decide to handover hathway HD box to hathway(branch office-bangalore). Will hathway repay some amount to me?

Yesterday i got an sms from airtel saying due to incerased input costs, my rent would be increased to 1550 from 1400. my plan is 30GB 2 Mbps in delhi.
This is it. I am looking for options other than Airtel, uptill now everyone on our family preferred airtel due to their services, but they are changing service charges at their will. This shows their monopoly. I have decided to just stop using airtel services altogether, airtel broadband, as well as 6 airtel mobile connections. i m going to dump all of those for sure.
For that matter, i am looking for other options for broadband in delhi area.
Please suggest broadband services.
I am specially interested in tatadocomo broadband plans.. as they seem very competitive.. but i am unsure if they are available in delhi region. Has anyone tried tatadocomo broadband services? and how to contact them? i tried contacting their toll free number which promises a return call within 24 hrs.. but i never got a call. Also my email sent to them bounced and never got delivered.
Any other options that can be suggested in my area PIN:110096 Mayur vihar phase 3.

Hathway Docsis 3.0 plans start from monthly Rs 599 and go upto Rs 1499 for the 50 Mbps plan which offers 50 GB of download data.

I have to choose Start Windows Normally each time I boot my laptop, which was never the case earlier. Please help me. Thanks

This is in Bangalore, may not be applicable all India. Nothing major, just a few small changes. | ACT Broadband Bangalore Reviews Posted: 26 Mar 2014 05:25 AM PDT Hello Readers, My name is Vivek Sinha Anurag and i am going to post some "great" work shown by Act Broadband. I applied for ACT Broadband 5 Mbps plan [its having cap value of 35GB after that speed will reduce to 256 kbps] by calling their customer care on 16th Aug 2011. I was surprised to see their lightening fast response as the representative came to my doorstep the very next day and on 17th Aug 2011 Mr Ashitt O.S. collected the money and documents and told me that withing 5 days i will get my connection and i even got sms confirmation that my request no is 142263. Now the real story started. Even after 6 days no one ever bothered to check my request so i called customer care [ 080-42840000] to remind them and i was told that i will get it withing next 2 days. I waited for next 2 days and called them again. I was surprised to learn a new technical term from them that they are "Uploading network" hence its taking time and soon i will get my connection. Since my work was getting affected because of their delay i applied for a BSNL connection too. Now today is 5th September and i am still waiting for the connection and to my surprise i got the BSNL broadband last week. I tried escalating this matter and asked the customer care for any high level contact and they said that i need to mail helpdesk@acttv.in. I emailed them but i got no response. Please note some points regarding ACT broadband before applying ACT broadband 1. They dont have nodal officer/appellate authority [against TRAI rules and i have already escalated this matter to TRAI officials with the help of pgportal.gov.in] 2. They have a customer base of 2500 users in bangalore and they are not able to manage even this small number. 3. They DO NOT PROVIDE STATIC IP [even if they claim to do so] 4. Their customer care service is useless. All you will losse is your balance by talking to them 5. They can "Upload network" [You can imagine the understanding capability of their technicians] 6. They are fast in collecting money but lazy in delivering service Final conclusion: To be on safe side stay away from them else you will suffer like me. Morning shows the day and even before using their service i am suffering. Don't know what will happen when i get the connection and i face any problem that time. |

After updating windows 8 to 8.1 , browsers dont work properly after a period of 2-3 hours there is no issue with the connection , torrents download fine all day long without any problem after running the browser for 2-3 hours , browsers freeze / stop working / dont work / dont load i dont get any error message , it doesnt load anything , when i open a new tab , nothing loads in that too after a restart this becomes normal , only till the next 2-3 hours
- tried chrome , firefox , IE , opera - re-installed the browsers , USB modem drivers , network doesnt seem to be issue
checked the windows 8 community , there are few queries with the same issue , but no fruitful solutions
