Apple is expected to unveil its next iPhone at a special event on Sept. 10, sources told AllThingsD. Apple is also expected to formally launch the next version of Mac OS X, known as Mavericks, in the coming weeks, though that is not expected at the Sept. 10 event.

A few things set this slate apart: it includes both front and rear cameras, an FM radio with built-in antenna and no need for headphones, and an optional 3G radio with dual-SIM support. (What, no 4G?) The IdeaTab A2107 runs on either 512MB or 1GB of RAM alongside a 1-GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, with 4GB, 8GB and 16GB models available. Micro-USB and -SD card slots should help with additional connectivity and storage needs when the tablet launches in November. No word on price yet, but with that low-res screen we're guessing $199–or cheaper.

CBS News has learned that the Pentagon is making the initial preparations for a cruise missile attack on Syrian government forces. We say "initial preparations" because such an attack won't happen until the president gives the green light. And it was clear during an interview on CNN Friday that he is not there yet.

"If the U.S. goes in and attacks another country, without a U.N. mandate and without clear evidence that can be presented," the president told CNN, "then there are questions in terms of whether international law supports it -- 'do we have the coalition to make it work?' Those are considerations that we have to take into account."

The much-rumored iPhone 5S and a 5-inch iPhone 6 have shown up at an Apple supplier in China, according to a post on a Chinese microblogging site.
The models could be released this year, according to a post by a Sina Tech user called Old Yao. He reports that a friend of his at a supplier has seen the models and says that the iPhone 5S resembles the iPhone 5, while the iPhone 6 is wider, longer, and thinner.

I recently spoke to the customer service center in my attempts to buy a DVR. Apparently, they are all out of DVRs and they are no longer in production, in anticipation of a new device which includes bluray.

Now, I'm confused by this, I know DirectTV/DishTV in the US, started broadcasting in 1080p and were advertising it as bluray quality. I'm not sure if videocon is trying to pull off a similar move, or is it gonna blow our minds by including an actual bluray player in it's box.

They were not allowed to give me any more information other than telling me it is coming soon. I'm assuming it should be launched pretty soon since the DVRs are no longer for sale (unless you find a dealer that has some units left)

Does anyone else have any info on this?

I want to buy a printer for home. My usage is mostly photocopying and little printing. I currently use a HP printer that has seen better days.
My needs are:

-Printer, Scanner, Copier

-Only A4 printing, colour and B/W both. No photo printing.
 

Optional(depends on the price):
-Wireless printing from phone and laptop.
-Touchscreen

I'm open to buying HP and Canon. After sales must be good(I'm happy with the HP one).

UK supermarket giant Tesco has a product listing and box art for currently unannounced Call of Duty: Ghosts.
The listings cover Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms, though the Xbox 360 listing has already been removed. The PlayStation 3 listing remains at time of writing, however.

As well as outing both the unrevealed game and what is believed to be the official box art, the merchant's product listing also claimed that the sequel will be "built on an entirely new story, setting, and cast, all powered by a next-generation Call of Duty engine".
