Funny Videos, Images and Jokes Posted: 16 Aug 2013 12:39 PM PDT MS staff There was a pilot flying a small single engine charter plane, with a couple of very important executives on board. He was coming into Seattle airport through thick fog with less than 10m visibility when his instruments went out. So he began circling around looking for landmark. After an hour or so, he starts running pretty low on fuel and the passengers are getting very nervous. Finally, a small opening in the fog appears and he sees a tall building with one guy working alone on the fifth floor. The pilot banks the plane around, rolls down the window and shouts to the guy "Hey! Where am I?" To this, the solitary office worker replies "You're in a plane." The pilot rolls up the window, executes a 275 degree turn and proceeds to execute a perfect blind landing on the runway of the airport 5 miles away. Just as the plane stops, so does the engine as the fuel has run out. The passengers are amazed and one asks how he did it. "Simple" replies the pilot, "I asked the guy in that building a simple question. The answer he gave me was 100 percent correct but absolutely useless, therefore that must be Microsoft's support office and from there the airport is just a while away." __________________________________________________________ Is Windows a virus? No, Windows is not a virus. Here's what viruses do: They replicate quickly Okay, Windows does that Viruses use up valuable system resources, slowing down the system as they do so okay, Windows does that Viruses will, from time to time, trash your hard disk Okay, Windows does that, too Viruses are usually carried, unknown to the user, along with valuable programs and systems Sigh... Windows does that, too Viruses will occasionally make the user suspect their system is too slow (see 2) and the user will buy new hardware Yup, that's with Windows, too Until now it seems Windows is a virus but there are fundamental differences: Viruses are well supported by their authors, are running on most systems, their program code is fast, compact and efficient and they tend to become more sophisticated as they mature So, Windows is *not* a virus __________________________________________________________ Note about Winblows '95 Windows '95 supports Plug 'n' Pray peripherals!!! __________________________________________________________ What's the difference between Bill Gates and Robert Tappen Morris, Jr. (the Internet Worm Hacker)? worst customer service by tata docomo Posted: 16 Aug 2013 12:02 PM PDT Recently I had worst service experience with tata docomo. I am using SIM of tata docomo with internet connectivity. In last week, to my surprise, two times I felt that my balance was reducing at a much higher rate. Once it was reduced to zero and another time just after my recharge some rupees were deducted. When I inquired about this with service center they were not able to give any satisfactory answer. Moreover they blame me that I might have downloaded something....so pathetic...I have decided that I will switch to some other service provider. |
Posted: 16 Aug 2013 11:46 AM PDT I have a childish Google ID. I had created it when I was a kid and now feel ashamed in giving it to anyone.
Same was the case with my Yahoo ID but I successfully created an alias there and it worked out pretty well.
I wanna do the same for my Google account? Is it possible.
I use so many Google services, GMail, Google+, Android, Blogspot, Hangouts, Chrome, etc. to name a few where I use my Google ID. Is it possible to create an alias so that I can log in using the new ID and have all the settings and other stuff there.
Something like there are two usernames for one account and the new one becomes the primary username.
Possible? |
Airtel Network and Internet Issue Posted: 16 Aug 2013 11:43 AM PDT I am using Samsung S3 and Airtel sim in it, it has worst internet speed, for opening facebook it takes 10 min list, i have tried other internet connection it works very well with the handset. I thought it could be my mobile problem but I have tried with every way from my side like formated mobile, internet setting also correct but still it is worst. I am not getting network in my room and if i will come just out side the room there is full network for the airtel, even though Airtel tower is just withinf 100 to 200m from my room (this is max distance actually i think it is within 100m) I am loosing my important calls due to this and every other mobile network is full inside my room. I have tried for MNP but as my number is new they are not permitting MNP (less than 6 months we cannot port). and the worst thing is that I am using 2 mobiles (1 S3 and other dual sim samsung phone) and I have 2 Airtel numbers in that I am very old customer of Airtel may be last 8 to 9 years, and now I give up on Airtel. Guys if you have any Idea by which I can get good network in my room (Parijat Society, Hadapsar, Pune) and good Internet speed please please let me know or any number by which I can provide my Complaint to Airtel (if helpful). |

Posted: 16 Aug 2013 10:47 AM PDT After getting the MTNL SIM and activating it, how do I activate the 3G data connection? Also, how do I check if I have any free data with the new connection? *444# only gives balance and validity. Also tried 112 and 234 but nothing. Sending enqfree to 444 gives Invalid Request. Any ideas?

Frequent Disconnection / ADSL blinking Issue on MTNL Broadband Posted: 16 Aug 2013 09:36 AM PDT Hi, I am a user of 849NU plan of MTNL Triband service since August based out of Navi Mumbai. All of August, i was very happy to have a lovely connection and good speeds, with a pretty good tariff. But now since the past 15 days I am suffering from very intermittent net connection. Although I am connected to the internet, sometimes the webpages take ages to open, and never open, while at other times it opens instantly. Also downloading has the same pattern, sometimes I get very good speeds of upto 200 Kbps, while other times there is no download. Although all download sites show good Triband Speed, but it is the intermittent connection that is the problem. This problem has crept up in the last 15 odd days, and I have tried everything but no change has been noticed. Has anyone else faced a similar problem, and if yes, whats the work around. The people at MTNL classify this as a slow connection problem, but that is exactly not the issue, as I do get good speeds intermittently. Somebody please help me. |

Pens - Which where and for how much? Posted: 16 Aug 2013 09:04 AM PDT I don't think such a topic exists or Tapatalk is not the best way to search. I am planning to buy a pen to gift (budget 4k). I know the names of the brands but nothing more than that. I know some of you will think that this is waste but..... Since the time is short, online ordering isn't a viable option. Anyone knows where I can get the best deal in NCR. |

Modem Router that works both on BSNL & ACT Broadband Posted: 16 Aug 2013 08:13 AM PDT HI, I'm currently using BSNL BB with BSNL modem, since couple of months connection is getting worse day by day. I'm planning to move to ACT BB in couple of months, prior to that I would like to change the modem which works both on BSNL and ACT BB.
Let me know whether "TP-LINK TD-W8968 300 Mbps Wireless N USB ADSL2+ Modem Router" works on both? or suggest me any other. Thank you. |
Posted: 16 Aug 2013 08:13 AM PDT I have probably watched most of the older seasons on Star World but going through it from scratch considering it is a show that is still running and doing extremely well. It is not the most exciting of shows but it does well nonetheless. I like the primary character because of his stupid smile and the way he handle things while narrating it to audience how he does it. |
