To restart modem you can use many scripts or task scheduler or other apps.

I am using
1. Autohotkey v 1.0.48.05 installed. (download from here http://www.autohotkey.com/download/A...05_Install.exe )
2. puttytel.exe downloaded and copied root directory of C:\ (download from here http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/...6/puttytel.exe )
3. Autohotkey script
4. Windows Task Scheduler is used to run script at 08:35pm and 07:44am

Simply copy this script in notepad and save as modemrestart.ahk

Run, C:\puttytel.exe -telnet 192.168.1.1

Most probably if your modem ip address is 192.168.1.1 and user name: password is admin:admin. and modem supports telnet command "System" and "Restart" your modem will restart at these times
