PA Sangma launches National People's Party, vows allegiance to NDA - India - DNA

PA Sangma, who broke away with the NCP last year to contest the presidential elections, though unsuccessfully, on Saturday launched National People's Party (NPP), and chosen a book as its symbol. Sangma has chosen to align his partywith the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Launching the NPP at the "national level", Sangma said it has been active for long as a recognised party from Manipur. The former Lok Sabha Speaker, who is the president of the party, said his daughter Agatha, MP from Tura, Meghalaya, will be "in NCP for the time being on technical grounds".

However, Sangma sounded confident that "Agatha will fight the next elections as an NPP candidate." Agatha had to resign as Union minister on her party NCP's directions after she campaigned for her father PA Sangma in the July presidential elections in defiance of the party.

if you want to see extreme weather delhi is a good place. it can reach as low as 1-2 C in winters and as high as 45-48C in summers.

Frequent disruption in connectivity even with steady ADSL

Of late, I am having this weird problem where the ADSL would be steady but suddenly webpages refuse to load, online games stall and messages over IMs don't seem to get through. It seems I suddenly lose connectivity and then regain it after about a min or two and then lose again.

Again, all this while, the ADSL remains steady and the modem status shows connected. When the webpages fail to load, I get the error "DNS lookup failed". I tried playing around with different public DNS servers, but the issue persists with every such DNS provider.

Anyone else experiencing the same problem? Any solutions?

Here are my SNR/ ATTN stats:-


SNR Margin 28.5db (DS) 23.0db (US)
Line Attenuation 10.5db 6.5db
CRC Errors 2 0
Data Rate 4992 Kbps 480 Kbps

I guess you are talking about old BB phones. With playbook things are better & hopefully BB10 will be a huge step forward. And as I was saying elsewhere in the forum - There are rumours that they would likely start off with 100k apps for BB10 devices. Thats maximum at launch time for any platform.
