Tried visiting their site. Seems they have/had an app for Windows 7 phones as well

They had Abhisheik do the DTH ads. They have a deal with SR-K for TV as he has been doing those ads for some time as well. Maybe they might object, and demand removal but I doubt they will drag him to court.

Both houses have come together and it will be telecasted tomorrow so that could be the reason.

Since I am from Chandigarh and have got a new reliance connection recently I can answer some of the questions.

1.) Just got the connection 2 days back. Havent used it so no idea.

2.) Same as above. Have used both Airtel and Bsnl. Both are good.

3.) In Chandigarh you have to 1st find out if reliance has network in your area. I had to get a new connection and reliance didnt have feasibility near my Home but had feasibility at the Showroom so I got the connection there.

4.) reliance customer care is generally bad. I have 5-6 contact numbers in my phone already to complain to incase of any issues.


First find out if they have feasibility in your area by calling on 01723032273.

Well... Next explaination from AirHELL will be "We have given bandwidth to starving Poor people in Africa to eat as FREE Lunch and thats why we are forced to give Broadband plans with FUPs in India. Please bear with our FUPed plans and feed the hungry children in Africa".

The problem is many AirHELL broadband (non techy) users will definitely believe this BS too...



P.S. :-

Long ago (during dial-up times) I have read that VSNL (owned by Tatas) sold bandwidth to BSNL at Rs3 per GB... I don't have the source now. But now, it must be still lot more cheaper due to increase in usage.

The new HD DVR does send DD audio over HDMI.

i was thinking of getting the reliance thunder 1099 plan but the the service is very bad i called them last week nd told them to set up the connection haven't herd from then since tried calling them several time but they only say your request has been escalated ..

While it is naive to draw conclusions from a case based on facts presented by the media, from whatever I have read, I think the parents are a strong suspect.
