Alliance Kolkata 6mbps speed test Posted: 07 Jul 2012 01:02 PM PDT Idiot alliance I'm really suspecting that they are limiting bandwidth here..tonight I called them at 1 a.m..that time I was getting very bad speed like 1.5mbps where I should get 6 mbps...then after telling the problem to customer care guy my speed suddenly jumps to 5 mbps...like what the hell..total fcuking BS from alliance on server maintaining part...I'm furious.... |

Posted: 07 Jul 2012 12:48 PM PDT no offence to anyone and their desires, but i am most amazed when somebody as new as jaymin buy an S2 from 1st months salary:torn: i have numrous examples of youth having lost their sense of understanding of the future responsibilities. few days back my hitachi AC service man came with a white S2, whcih is hard to get i suppose, it was not brand new but still good, i asked him what phone it was ,as i was amazed that he could have a samsung , do u know what he replied??? he said its a "NOTE" , i just smiled in my thoughts and didnt say a single thing ,i know what a ****ing "NOTE" looks like, but the point is a service engineer had an S2, WHILE I HAVE AN SGS.:Nag: why does he need a note is what that is beyond me.:iomg: |

pls suggest wifi modem with router for bsnl.URGENT Posted: 07 Jul 2012 12:33 PM PDT i have just decided to take bsnkl broadband (plan 850 - 4mbps bsnl is offering basic modem for 1300/- and wifi modem for 1600/- I know that they provide modems of cheap companys and qualities.. i dont know what i actually needs for wifi connection i will get just bsnl broadband line and will put in modem/router and i will connect my pc with lan cable to modem and upto 4 cell phone and lappy using wifi DO I NEED WIFI MODEM OR DO I NEED WIFIMODEM+ROUTER.. plz suggest some good company modem/router..URGENT |

DISGRACE for being a Tikona Customer, DONT GO FOR TIKONA Posted: 07 Jul 2012 12:04 PM PDT 3 months back by looking upon an advertisement i hopped upon an advertisement billboard-ed on a wall near my home in the street 2mbps unlimited at just 699, i had shifted to chennai just few days before and was looking for an broadband connection, and i thought give a try, called that number and executive showed up before 2 hours (unbelievable for indian consumer) then they gave me demo for their broadband connection and it was not so good at beginning but later speeds were good (all this just during demo) , then i paid them installation charges + one month advance ( only company to charge in advance, got corny though but as i wanted to try i paid them) just few other things - fup upto 7.5 gb after 512 kbps not bad either (comparing to other heftily charging companies) fup reached within a week , am still wondering howcome, as i hardly used it for first 4 days., and i do download but that week i hardly might have used 3-4 gb as my torrent downloader shows, anyways i didnt bother, after fup speed was average at 200-300 kbps, but still i didnt care same story for next month problem started at end of third bill cycle (cash already paid , as it collects in advance) the broadband would connect for a minute or so and keep disconnected for long hours (i mean it) i thought maybe some error in their network, so i dozed off, the same thing for another day, i was little busy so couldn't get to customer care, as a mighty customer of this company , you might know their toll free number, we have to wait minimum of 7-8 minutes to get in touch with the executives, so i called later in the evening, i was assured of an engineer's visit by next day, as said i received a call, but engineer never came, and i get a sms from TIKONA that ur problem has been resolved, please rate our servies , i was like WOW, when did that happen ,i tried to open tikona login page (still being innocent) , i was dumb , the net wasnt working, tried for 2 hours (with intervals) , this shit wasn't working (TIKONA plz dont mind) , i called customer care another 10 minutes wasted on line, then spoke to executive, he was like it shows engineer did visit me, ha ha ha,,, what a bunch of liers they heir (sorry again TIKONA) i called the number of engineer (which i received call of asking my address and will visit me) he had lame reason that he visited a person who shares my name,i was like WTF there is nobody with my name in my whole street, (just wondering how they got me during appointment for new connection) i was assured for visiting again within few hours... the number is switched off till date Fine, no response from TIKONA for one whole week, actually 10 days (my internet did get connected, but had mind of its own as per its convenience and not mine, what a silly broadband), i call again to TIKONA and informed about their lame services, and i even tried to be mad at them and even threatened about consumer forum and blah blah blah, i was asusred an engineer visit within 4 hours, well thank god engineer did visit but after 2 long days, excuse was there were so many service request pending (be WARNED about TIKONA) he been to my terrace and was like Access Point (which they call AP) was at fault, and said only solution is to get a device which can connect directly from home wireless, (WTF the AP on open terrace cannot connect to internet, how can a device inside a tall building from first floor will connect) and will take 7-10 working days, i asked for disconnection plainly then this HASSLE about tikona started, its almost a month to be now since i requested for disconnection till now no response about disconnection but in between this period the bill generated (for not so good working broadband - and they claim i used 36 gb of data ) :O i called customer care last week, they ask me to send email for disconnection - can anyone in here tell me how do i send email from not working internet connection ( i do have 3g in my mobile, but they dont know, they ask me to go to an Internet Cafe, for what am i paying them ) in between no calls for disconnection or about service resolving, but i do get gundas calling me for paying for the bill (i call them gunda call they r so rude and i said them i wont pay until i get disconnection and i shall pay only on all the things to EXIT Tikona is finalised, they say i wont get until i clear dues ((what a great policy of a FRAUD company, sorry TIKONA but thats the truth, if u had faith on ur service u wont charge in advance)), anyways they keep on saying they will keep calling until i pay them today morning executive calls me if i stay as a customer with them waiver my bill 50% for next 3 months and waiver my last month bill and provide double than FUP with full speed for next 6 months what a mouth watering offer isnt it?? but what will i do with broadband itself not working? the executive was mouthshut with no answer, she said please send us email for disconnection (she was the only person to understand her company was at fault she was just doing a formality to keep me as customer) the only way to get disconnection and pay bill when engineer comes to collect the dabbas ( my own word for instrument which are crappy) such a position is mine that am not even able to use internet from 40 days nor am i getting disconnection , and please note the advertisement for connection number - switched off the executive came to visit for new connection - switch off mobile the person along with him - mobile switch off the local tikona number - is always busy (behaving like government office) and another technical person (for wifi ) - he did attend call and apologisingly said he isnt associated with tikona anymore first engineer (who just called) number switched off last engineer - too busy servicing to attend calls, never picked up my call again called customer care numerous of times, no response, just got little hope today last but not least - getting inside was easy but it seems like am in a labyrinth, seems no exit just fed up with a fraud company advising u never go with TIKONA, a shit company source - personal experience or lets call grievance, |
