Hi,

Can someone please explain me the difference between single versus multi user in bsnl wimax plans? The reason I ask is that we have 3 instruments (iPad, laptop and PC) at home. I used to have a BSNL landline based broadband, which I used with multiple devices using a wireless router. Is it possible to do the same thing with wimax? Can someone please explain more about single versus multi user?

And also, can anyone throw more information about single strength near VIT college, on Vandalur-Kelambakam road?

i do not get this logic at all.

what is the point of not offering the service at all if the problem is only related to piracy? i mean if they offer it, there would be some users who would pay for content. not offering it means that everyone would be forced to pirate it.

from what i understand, google (and apple) can do more about piracy in markets like india by offering the ability to pay for content and apps through carrier billing and other alternatives. not everyone here has a credit card to buy apps and other form of content.

and india is not a big enough digital market for both apple and google to get into deals with content providers. that is the only reason why itunes and google play store does not sell music/movies/tv-shows/ebooks etc.

i did not use one x long enough to see it hang for me to try to reboot it using the on/off key. so i cannot tell what i would have done with it considering the battery on that phone is not removable.

i assume that devices like one x tends to have a more capable on/off button. otherwise, your only way out would be to wait for the phone to completely discharge.

Have been trying to complain regarding the SPAM messages to V from last 2 days, The system doesn't allow me to register. Am guessing that they have blocked me from reporting a SPAM message, because when my friend reported it today, it accepted successfully. I have reported about 22-25 SPAM messages in last 2 weeks.

When I called up the CC, those jokers are clueless.

ok i could get on to sushubh.net , opened fine , so this a bug with cloudflare which is not letting any ip through which does NOT has a host name, i have 2 servers which don't have any host names open to public [ it is a weird set up i know :|] , i think it is a part of clouldflare DDos protection. i cannot open broadbandforum.in from both those servers but i can open a frn's site which does use clouldflare, i guess you could take it up with them for debugging meanwhile i will try to get in touch with my friend and ask him if also had to do something on this but i really don't think so or i would have known about it , since i am backing up his site on a regular basis on my server but still if i find out anything out i will ping you.

Big Words's won't Change Anything same like unplanned agitation won't achieve anything.

Atleast I never abused in any if the above comments. Instead I am accusing Govt for making this agitation a failure by incorporating Media with them. But If someone want's to challenge my thinking and intentions, then better contribute something towards the country 1st and then ask me to do.

Me and you can argue endlessly but I have only one thing to say. I participated in Team Anna last agitation and even escaped from arrest too at Azad Maidan, But after loosing my 2 days I achieved nothing and I am in no mood to invest more time. I am happy with what I have.

Its not Satyug and we won't find Sri Ram & Sri Hanumaan. We have to live by it. I have accepted it and I am moving On.

I completely agree with you. Peering is a good bonus, but the day speeds are not up to the standards. Today most of us watch Youtube at atleast 480p quality. I normally prefer 720p HD, but the annoying 560kbps is just not enough. 1.5mbps day with 2 mbps night, with full 100mbps peering is a awesome deal :)

hello friends, i need your help im using a bsnl 3g 128kb sim, i recharged with 3g data plans many times but never got speed more than 120kbps, i also talked to bsnl call center but they never helped me, few days ago i decided to recharge with 2g data plan, i.e, rs 270 with 10gb for 30 days because i found my money going waste by recharging expensive 3g data plans but after filing a complaint again i recharged to with one more 3g data plan i.e, rs 25 with 100mb for 3days but speed is still low, on other hand the network strength of bsnl 3g at my place in superb it show full wcdma/3g networks(i live in unnao, uttar pradesh), i tried two modems, huawei O2 and micromax 352g both has 7.2mbps download speed capacity.
please help

So great to hear that ...but I just ordered a Sandisk 8GB Extreme Pro UHS SD Card and instead I got a Sandisk Cruzer Blade 16 GB Pendrive from some suman enterprises that is almost half the price the Card.(Wow what a business)
Think if that would've happened with your TV..Paid for a LED TV and got an LCD TV .
and its not just me there are like many cases if you just google it.
And their refund policy is that you need to wait for 1 month for payment that you thought you should pay in advance trusting them.(A big round of applause)
Last but not the least if you want a return , mail them immediately else they wont let you and the best part comes after you've mailed them

Their response mail which says :

Currently am having airtel bb 4Mbps 75 GB plan and tried to migrate to the new 8Mbps plan that they have come with in BTM Layout, Bangalore. However they replied back stating this plan is not feasible in my area. As we all know they dont want to upgrade their hub for just one customer though been using this connection for 4 or 5 yrs. Hence am planning to change my connection to any other service provider who can provide me a faster plan. Any suggestions or idea if there are any other service provider who provides faster speed plans in this area?

well airtel has already done it in the past.

Indian Premier League was broadcast on 2mbps line irrespective of what the customer was subscribed to. since it was a pro-consumer move, no one complained. but it was against network neutrality.

their throttling of torrent traffic during the day time is same. editing our internet access. playing with it. against network neutrality.

randomly redirecting us to their smartbytes promo page is again editing of our internet access. probably not connected to network neutrality but still tempering with the internet access.

You are right. It works but this solution does not last long.

If you want to see Android, YouTube review videos are a much better bet than the emulator. The emulator is for development and looks and works like shit.
