Location: Srinagar Colony
Package: BMax-10Mbps
Cost per Month: 1000 rupees
Positive Points:
Speeds are brilliant. I get the promised speeds on my package. Those pings I get are probably the best i've seen in India. To add to all these, the upload is unlimited. No shaping of the bandwidth.

Negative Points:
Pretty obviously the Customer Care is massive negative for Beam. I have long given up on it. There is this customary downtime that happens every month without fail. Either its some server issue or more commonly a cable cut. The downtime is usually for couple of hours at the most. They are pretty prompt in rectifying it.

General View:
I remember some company used to have a tagline "Simply the best". Beam can proudly take over that tagline. I would recommend BEAM to anyone in Hyderabad.

DNS Cache Poisoning Attack?

DNS cache poisoning is a hacking attack and is not the problem of DNS servers. The given ip address 59.185.3.11 is the attackers ip.
what you should do is

  • Open Command Prompt (Type cmd in run and press Enter)
  • Type: ipconfig /flushdns
This will flush your dns cache.
Also Full scan your computer with updated Eset Antivirus and a good anti-spyware like anti-malwarebytes or any other software also scan for any rootkit with the kaspersky Tdsskiller (Freely available on kaspersky website).

Tata Sky HD DTH: Does Tata Sky has anything on lines of RDTv MAX pack?

The RDTV max pack has all SD channels plus all HD channels.But i have to subscribe for atleast 6 months.Which is ok.The cost is around rs450 PM.

Is there any other DTH offering anything similar?

I basically want all the channels as i cant be bothered with chopping and changing channels.

Videocon doesnt offer Ten Cricket all the time.So would be missing cricket action in lots of places when India isnt playing.

Can anyone offer me any help.Really dont want to buy Reliance.
