Don't want to create a new thread for this........ I need a leather cover for protection, which also is a stand for viewing videos....... I couldn't find any reasonable priced on ebay minimum price is above 2300 rupees for ok quality goes upto 7000 rupees :eek:........ Can anybody tell me where I can find one nice cover??? :thumbup:

just came back from the show. reviews have been generally negative. i loved it though. guy ritchie rocks!

airtel 2G speed

Since Nov 30 Airtel speeds have come down a bit in 2G and a lot less in 3G. There are people using 3G pack and getting low speeds too unlike 3-6 mbps previously.
If you use a 2G pack, do not try to connect in Dual or 3G.
It will show connected in 3G but give you only 40 kbps.
Force it connect in Edge only, it will give 120-160 kbps atleast.
3G speeds in 2G packs is almost already history.

i am a tikona user and here's my advice before you go for it:

CHECK THEIR SIGNAL STRENGTH WITH THE INSTALLATION TECHNICIANS FIRST AND THEN ONLY GO FOR IT.

my experience was good for the first couple of months and then their SIGNAL START TO FLUCTUATE. IT GOES AND COME. REALLY REALLLLLLY FRUSTRATING IF YOU ARE USING IT FOR WORK PURPOSE.

WORST IS THEIR TECHNICAL SUPPORT, YOU GOT TO LISTEN THEIR NUISANCE MUSIC FOR MORE THAN 5 MINS THEN THEIR TECH SUPPORT WILL PUT YOU ON HOLD AND HERE'S THE BEST PART, THEIR SOLUTION TO YOUR FRUSTRATING ISSUE WILL BE DISCONNECT YOUR LINE.

I AM LEAVING FOR GOOD.

BUT IF YOUR AREA HAS GOOD SIGNAL, YOU MAY RISK FOR IT.

Can i activate gprs 89 plan in 3g activated sim

No .. GPRS89 does not happen from a 3G sim .

Not sure whether others can use it also. I have not been able to migrate back to 2G even after sending the message format .
If you migrate to 2G, it should work.

I dont think airtel diminshes the quality of sd broadcast, though I agree their portal is a pain.

It seems that they do charge for data roaming. Though I dont know whether its applicable if youre on a data plan.

How much have they charged you ? You could try calling them and asking whether data roaming is charged or not and record the details. Or you could ask them to mail you the details.
