Forgot to update. TS morons installed this at my place today. The whole process took about 10 minutes. May be even lesser. They called me up, asked to leave the STB on, and then remotely triggered an upgrade. Meanwhile they arrived after 20 mins with 10 meter free cable (for some reason they kept repeating that word), connected the STB to the router and bam, it was up and running. The content is limited right now like @rajivkrishnan already said, but it is a start nevertheless. I finally have an IP connected TV at home :p

I don't have to worry about FUPs so I can download pretty much anything. Need to add that they have FREE movies also on this option, and they have a pretty good list to be honest. I found the old Golmaal too which I had been wanting to get hold of for long. Now I need to take some time out and figure out which IP they get all their stuff from :D

Yeah, you basically got confused between a router and a modem. There are a few devices available that are routers with a built-in modem but most are not.
