Have voted for mtnl..Going to switch to uninor..Already submitted dox..Another thing i noted is for Mobile Number Portability there were several forms from loop,reliance,mtnl..the guy told to me have a look at the pending applications since they were rejected by their current operators..

Linking images from your loacal drive is not going to work in web (unless you are a server). upload your image to some image hosting site then post it.

I also stopped using them. Pendrive/External HDD for data backup & online for downloads. Very rarely do nowadays I need discs to install software - most of it is online. Only when system crashes (which is less when compared to my earlier years) do I need a set of discs to install Windows,Office & other basic stuff. Otherwise I download rest all from the web.

Heights of Laziness.....No Offence. I also have the same problem. My DTH AV is connected to the rear AV input and whenever i want to use my DVD i put the DVD AV to the front AV input. In my TV if AV is connected with both front & rear, it will work only with front. The moment i remove front AV cable DTH works. No hardwork compare to using the switch button.

i think they slapped the customers because these days unlimited plans cause a serious problem with 3g browsing speeds and also another issue is they are going to upgrade 14.1 mbps and 21.1 mbps in (some cities) within 2 mnths. enjoying 21 mbps speed in 1500rs unlimted plan is something extra ordinary and no were in the world enjoying this much speed in this price...so they rethink for attaining mutual benefit...

hi friends there is the software named qmat (google it ) used in old method of backing up firmware of huawei e220 for manual unlock (method and soft can be found by googling) and also soft named huawei bin tool ,and all other flashbox software used to flash mobile phones have ability to back up firmware. so find a friend having umg 1831 with original firmware back up its firmware and save it as bin format then u can flash it on ur modem by using QPST tool (found on forum) or above mentioned softwares aslo u can integrate the bin file in firmware updater exe by using reshack


also some one having original firmware of umg 1831 pls post the parameters of all default nv items they can be saved to txt file format using QPST tool

Recently I bought a BSNL 3G sim and recharged for Rs.4200 and I also bought the Huawei UMG 1831 USB Modem. It worked fine for 2 weeks and then my sim crashed. I thought it was a manufacturing defect and bought a new BSNL 3G sim. Its not even been 2 days with this new 3G sim and it has crashed again. Both the times it was working fine till my last use but the sim showed it had crashed when I inserted it the next time. My USB Modem says that sim is not being recognised and when I insert the sim in the phone it says "sim crash : contact serive provider". I am using it on Mac OS X Snow Leopard and can anyone tell me what could possibly have gone wrong?

We can do it even now. Only we have to give access to Twitter application on FB and link our Twitter account to it. Then Twitter post appears as status messages in FB.

BTW Twitter should start charging for commercial accounts like those by products/companies. Their Twitter account is a whole website in its own for that product/service.

i will prefer the bigger one like 10 inch as this will good for reading and watching the movie also ... about 7 inch tablet i don't think any one carry the same in back pocket so need to carry with case in that scence also 10 inch is better and also you can hold it better way in hand...

about 7inch ipad .. they can do the same like iPhone nano/mini (rumors ) they can bring that one in future .. to target the middle range product .. may be something like 200 $ starting range .. to make it reachable for masses

Geohotz does not need any introduction if you use apple product and you have unlocked iphone by yourself. Right now, Geohotz is having hard time.

Well, doesn't look like we will be getting GeoHot's (whose real name is George Hotz) untethered iOS 4.2 jailbreak anytime soon. What's worse is that Sony seems to be trying to make an example of the dude with a lawsuit. According to the Washington Post, a recently filed restraining order against the famed hacker, was recently granted by the courts. This was over the key he released that allowed for PlayStation 3 owners to put another operating system on their console.

Sony's claim is that it opened the door to piracy. While it's true that the other OS feature does open the door to piracy, it doesn't necessarily mean that GeoHot condones piracy. He's gone on the record saying that (of course we can't read the guy's mind, either).

We don't claim to be legal experts, but as far as we know jailbreaking a device is legal. The restraining order bars him from releasing the code, and forces him to remove it from his website despite the fact that it's already all over the internet. He must also turn over all his computers, hard drives and anything else that can be used as evidence.

Simple, right? Just delete anything you don't want them to see. Not so fast, as that would probably just be considered attempting to destroy evidence, and get him into real trouble. Let's just hope he doesn't have some strange kind of porn or nudie pics saved on his computer.

Anyone else think Sony should just hire him to help build security into their next system?

As you are probably aware, iPhone jailbreak master Geoge Hotz, also known as Geohot is in a spot of bother with Sony over his Geohot’s jailbreak for the PS3 so much so that Sony is taking Geohot along with the failOverflow team to court.

I haven’t looked into all the technical and law wrangling of the dispute as it is for the PS3 but as Geohot is known for his jailbreaking of the iPhone I thought I’d pass this along and apparently you can sift through the information on the lawsuit if you wish by hitting up Here.

Hi I have a UMG 1831 USB Data Modem. I want to buy a BSNL 3G Sim to use it with my laptop. I am currently living in Chennai. I called the customer care 4 times and they could not answer my questions. I want to know the following please:

1. What is the process for me to get the Sim with 3G Service activated?

2. What recharge do I have to do to get a Prepaid Unlimited Plan on the card?

3. I heard I have to do some other recharge before I can recharge for the Prepaid Unlimited Plan of Rs. 1499. Is this true?

I want to know if I buy a normal sim for Rs 59 and top it up with Rs 99 (gives unlimited 3g service for iPad for 1 day) will i be getting iPad 3g Service on the sim activated?
