BSNL 3g Internet not as its promissed !!

Give your local DE hell, and tell him to fix the problem, or extend your data validity.

On the Teracom data card, I'm getting faster speeds (2.7 to 3.1Mbps) than my adsl (1.7 to 2Mbps) in congested, bandwidth-shared Mumbai.

Well yeS I am still. Though in my are a wire line was not possible.(And I think I was lucky that even Airtel didnt have wired line here, I didnt chose them...)

MTNL 3G DataCard (Teracom): Brief Review

Posted: 30 Jan 2011 12:20 PM PST

You're welcome!

HSPA stands for 'High Speed Packet Access'. Not familiar with the HTC models, so don't know what 'H' stands for. For 3G, phones should say 3G.

If you're getting 2Mb+, you're on 3G! Enjoy

Few questions about Reliance Wireline (Broadband) internet

Posted: 30 Jan 2011 12:14 PM PST

Exactly.....:)
But yaar what i think is - if i pay 2k extra, i should better pay it, to "Double" my current speed - which i think costs another 100-150 pm. I dont find it that annoying to shell out 2000 bucks pa extra!!

haha. well he was probably not. that's what most people who know him say at least. even the movie does not really show him in that sense. the movie was very positive about him and the whole scene.

Are there any problems with MNP (IMP.)

Posted: 30 Jan 2011 11:22 AM PST

This appeared in a tech website. Can anyone confirm whether this can be done?

""Is it possible to change service operators between circles? For E.g. Move to another city and change to a different operator
Well you can't do this, at least for now. The Department of Telecom (DoT) has allotted two zones so that all number porting requests don't overload a single Mobile Clearing House.

Zone I consists of Delhi, Mumbai, Maharashtra, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Eastern and Western Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir Licensed Service Areas (LSA).

Zone II includes Kolkata, Tamil Nadu (including Chennai), Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, North East and Orissa LSAs

Because of the configuration of individual Telecom circles, porting can happen between Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh; Bihar & Jharkhand; Rest of West Bengal & Andaman and Nicobar; within the states of the North East except Assam. Apart from these states, you cannot move between any other circle or zone. So if you want to switch operators between Mumbai and Delhi that's not going to happen just yet.""

Tke advantage of MNP and move to other operators who provide the service also and not just take your money.
