What we have heard is that some upgradation is going on for speed upto 14.2mbps! So as of now just wait. Regarding setting kindly check APN: bsnlnet And try using OPEN DNS or google's DNS! Samsung galaxy 3 (i5800 / i5801) vs LG Optimus One P500 Posted: 27 Jan 2011 10:53 AM PST +1 for Optimus One. I suggest this mainly because Gingerbread is confirmed for it and it comes preloaded with Froyo. Galaxy 3 is still stuck with Eclair. God knows when Samsung will release Froyo for it. Forget about Gingerbread on it. If i could have waited for couple of days i too have gone with Optimus One. I'm now having a Galaxy 3, which is good . If we use android phones, one of the most important thing we should keep in mind is the software updates. |
Ten Cricket gets I&B notice for violating advertising code Posted: 27 Jan 2011 10:49 AM PST NEW DELHI: The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has issued a show-cause notice to Ten Cricket on violation of advertising code during the telecast of the IndiaSouth Africa cricket series. Information and Broadcasting Ministry sources that the Ministry has taken umbrage at the advertisements that pop up in the middle of the screen even when the match is going on. The ministry said these advertisements disturb the viewership of the matches and several complaints had been received in this connection. The ministry had said that the advertisements should generally be shown only when there is a pause in the play, for example between two overs. The Ministry has given one week's time to Ten Cricket to respond to the notice. It is learnt that if a reply is received, it will be placed before the inter-ministerial committee before any decision is taken or any penalty is imposed. Saddled with high acquisition costs and under-declaration of subscribers by cable operators, sports broadcasters have been trying all ways to maximum advertising income.
