Problems being faced through Mobile Number Portability Posted: 03 Jan 2011 12:55 PM PST In America, the value of $1 is Rs.10 - not in terms of conversion rate - but in terms of how they treat the amount in itself , this i can by comparing the normal way of living of average "middle" class. Food $5-$10 ( meal at a small joint maybe, i.e. 50-100 Rs ) , $30-$40 at a reasonable hotel ( 300-400 Rs), Pepsi Can under $1- Rs.10, Spend $500-$1000 for a holiday (5000-10000 Rs) . Cable/Internet/Electricity/Water/Landline/Mobile all are in the range ($20-$100 i.e Rs.200 to 1000) This Rs.10 = $1 formula can be applied to many things , but not all. But atleast for basic stuff, this formula works fine. |

Posted: 03 Jan 2011 11:54 AM PST Quote: As such, even the "best" service provider needs to make numerous improvements to it's service to bring itself up to any kind of internationally acceptable standard (and Bharti being an MNC of the magnitude that it is SHOULD be providing services of internationally acceptable quality)... service like this simply wouldn't be tolerated anywhere else. |
MTNL Broadband: Getting billed in unlimited plan Posted: 03 Jan 2011 11:48 AM PST Quote: Hi everyone, realmccool can you please confirm if you were charged for the usage or was the usage just showing in your account but you were not charged. I am in the same dilemma :confuse:. I had changed my plan from NU849 to 1 mbps unlimited which got reflected in my account on 21-dec. Since that day all my usage has been recorded. So i waited till 1st thinking maybe the change would actually be effective from the 1st of this month. But the usage is still being recorded. Called up customer care, but the reply i got was that usage will be recorded but you will not be charged. I am stumped and don't know what is correct . If anyone is aware about the billing pattern for unlimited plans please let me know. Thanks.... |

Submit your 3g speed every day Posted: 03 Jan 2011 10:52 AM PST Lucky guys you are if getting this speed beyond 1mbps. BSNL 3G in Our U.P. East is hit by some un-explained bsnl 3G bug for months now and no body cares to resolve. max speed is 300-400 kbps with long long data outage and no transfers, worst than those old dial up days. I am going to start a thread for BSNL 3G U.P.(East) hoping people would participate to raise a voice. |
