Posted: 27 Dec 2010 01:08 PM PST I have emailed the d following to ap@trai.gov.in; nodal.ncr@airtel.in; 121@airtel.in; appellate.ncr@airtel.in Is it a FAIR USAGE POLICY?????????? Sir, I’ve been using Airtel Broadband connection for over 4 years with the following details… Name : Anupam Anand No: 011430xxxxxx A/C No : 118xxxxxx Alt Number: 995xxxxxxx Im using the impatient plan of 1399 Rs .. for the last 2-3 months… first two month went nice as Airtel given me relaxation upto 50GB or more per month , next month they gave me 40GB then they reduced my speed to 256 kbps… I accepted it.. and when my billing cycle renewed on 23 Dec 2010 …. After I used exactly 25GB within 4-5 days they reduced my speed to 256… I used it thinkin u would give away 40GB+ again like u did earlier …. My ques is why did u relaxed it upto 40GB earlier if u weren’t goin to continue … u can check my records….. And why the hell you people don’t inform us when our usage is near 80-90% ….. I have been complaining it since I activated this plan, that there is no message informing me of 80-90% usage already… alerting us. And now its just 27th Dec, 2010 already and all of sudden, my speed is reduced to 256… and that’s too without even any alert or message…. Sir the last 15 days of my billing cycle were also went with 256 kbps speed bec I though u ppl would inform me when I reach 80-90% of usage… but no message on browser or phone or email or by any means showed up… that’s why I haven’t paid the last bill and nor I paid the current and I’m planning to move to the other operator…… Sir whts the use of 1399 plan if I’m going to use it for 256kbps for almost whole month…. Without even informed of the data usage… If u wanna go with ur Fair Usage Policy, at tell us before reducing our speeds…. At least an intimation via email/sms/browser etc… keep us informed…. Now since I have a balance of 3348 pending to this account ……… I have no other option that to move other operators like MTNL for my landline…… n move to other provider for internet need Anupam Anand |

Google Nexus S powered by Android 2.3 from Samsung! Posted: 27 Dec 2010 10:29 AM PST YouTube - Quandrant Standard Test Score on Google Nexus S Quote: Does the same thing on mine.. I'm running Paul's r2 rom on mine and get 2300+ in quadrant if you wanna try that out... |
Posted: 27 Dec 2010 10:00 AM PST Quote: Current proposed tariffs (including tax) are: 5GB = 299 10GB = 349 20GB = 499 30GB = 649 Validity 30 days. No limit on speed - just whatever it can get subject to environmental factors, distance from tower etc. From memory the current hardware will do something like 30mbit/s so some users might experiences bursts to that speed, but, to err on the side of caution, we only advertise it as "up to 8mbit/s" as we expect this to be about the average throughput when everyone is using the network. With that in mind, however, the market for this product is also not likely to be too worried about whether they get 8 or 12 or 14.2 or 19.3 or 27.87 mbit/s, just so long as it's faster and better value for money than existing offerings, since we are not expecting to sell this lite product to "downloaders". |

Anyone is free to do business of his choice whether it is acting, politics or anything else, but nobody should try to divide India for his own benefits. India is the mother of every Indian and mother cannot be divided in Pieces. Every religion is the best for the person who believes in that religion, but any religion does not ask to hate other religions. Because religion or cast cannot be bigger than motherland. |
Zee Khana Khazana: New channel comming soon on zee dish tv Posted: 27 Dec 2010 09:04 AM PST Saurabh.... Actually i have a problem with all Zee channels - i am LITERALLY & REALLY, fed up of them..... 1) Worst print - Even on Standard Def, the other channels come with Decent viewing quality......This can be made out by comparing Ten Cricket with Star Cricket, or Zee News with Aaj Tak, or even Zee TV with Colours/Star...... Eg: When they show ultra-motion, the hair of players, the seam of the ball are anything but visible....... 2) They just want to earn blindly - They show cricket in between ads. Irrespective of the number of balls in an over, they push in the ad, the moment 6th ball touches the bat.....when the wicket falls - the moment players start celebrating, off they go..... This is really really pathetic - worse than Neo....atleast they show 3-4 seconds after the LAST ball (And not necessarily the 6th ball) of the over is bowled...... 3) To add to it, they provide this channel in the base pack of Dish TV - without additional charges......and to others, at exorbitant prices - totally unfair. Havent gone thru the rules regarding this, but it can be fit case for suing under the Competition Act. 4) And broadcast - its pathetic - time & again u see pixelation, it gets stuck, & what not!! FED UP OF THE WHOLE GROUP!! |
