You can flash only e175x series firmware to your modem, anything else will not work.

Only BSNL Knows what their network is upto :P . its "bsnlnet" here in Pune.

Its not fake, its available for some region and not available for some region. BTW as your location states you are from pune try to register for Landline online billing account. its not available for pune :P in short their online system sux royally !

Yes you can make and receive voice call on your 3g Datacard. As far as I know you might have been provided with teracom 3.6mbps datacard, which has calling facility in it. check the call (telephone) sign on teracom application, for calling. and your PC/Laptop will ring sound to your sound card when a call is received.

Your calling facility may be barred by call barring or by service provider. which I don't think so is done. can you tell exact message ?

You know in WiMax they will install one Wireless Router Roof-Top which receive signals from BTS. from that Wireless receiver Network cable or Optic cable go to your POE (Power over Ethernet) which is placed in your room. POE Output connected to your system or Router and your phone connected to your Router work like LandLine.

Then i searched on RCOM 600Kbps plan comes under prepaid plan look like wirefree(DONT KNOW WHY THEY INCLUDED THIS IS WIRELINE). immediately called up Reliance person that i dont't need wireless/WiMax connection you know what he replied Sir we are providing you wired only just one WireLess Receiver we will install on Roof-Top from Roof-Top Fiber Optic cable connects to your MODEM/Router. BUT i told him i DON'T want WiMax he replied me its not Wimax this is Wired Sir if you want we will provide you Phone and FAX feature also.....

Airtel are acting like cashwhores... its sickening :(

I would have migrated if the speeds after FUK were set to 2MBps... heck even 1MBps would work. BUT THIS IS JUST.... FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU AIRTEL

You can submit the rent agreement on a non judicial stamp paper. If you don't have that, you can get it on a plain paper with the signature crossed on a revenue stamp.

Nice. However, 1 re for 3 minutes is costlier compared to 33ps / min. You end up paying 1 re irrespective of whether you talk 10 seconds or 1 minute or 3 minutes.
