I think they have stopped supporting their modems. Even on new connection they are not giving any free modems anymore. They ask us to buy our own modems.

it worked earlier before HDFC was changing the mobile recharge system I think last data top was before that.
haven't tried after new interface but i do top up Rs.110/month using the same.

Sun direct has updated its Add on packs, some packs are new like Alacarte for FX, FOX Crime, baby tv.However the prices still remain high also some prices have been increased liuek ESPN now costs Rs 40 each , same with Star Sports.

one thing to clear confusion.. on that day.. i.e. on 1st oct.. some of Gemini channels names were changed....

Teja tv channel was showing Gemini Comedy in DTH.. whereas in Cable it was showing Gemini Movies.
Navvulu channel was showing Gemini Movies in DTH .. in cable it was showing Gemini Comedy....

Still in DTH it stays same... maybe Sun is forcing them to take Gemini Comedy for those DTH which didnt have it.. like Dishtv and TS..rest of them already have these channels in their packs.

same here i ws doubled frm 256kbps to 512kbps with 100rs top up
then frm 512kbps to 1mbps with free speed upgrade.but nw my speed is reduced to 256kbps:impissed: im airtel customer for past 3yrs,i had no probs but airtel suckz nw.

google is your friend.... linksys, dlink, netgear search for these brands...and choose.

heh yeah. i thought 15 was somehow better because most conversations do not go past that much posts.

as for Beta IBF... it is a mess currently. I tried importing the current backup. miserable failure.

i would probably pay for a conversion to a third party which is offering such a service and hope they have a better success rate.

they refused to give me connection in sector 4 .dont know where all in gurgaon they give us connection.

A good part of india's bureaucracy is still untouched and left that way. Im not exactly sure of the purposes it serves. The govt is not in a hurry. Those willing to make money are ready to fish in these waters.

hostgator any other, if you think you'll be able to use 100-200-300GB for 6.xx USD a month, you are wrong, each such provider has a very well written "terms of service" which you will break in one way or the other. CPU, inodes, max mysql queries, max concurrent connections, max script running time etc, the list is huge.

If you have a e-commerce websites a reliable VPS or a dedicated server with offsite back-up is best and safest option.

If you have a warez or illegal mp3 site, you'll always trigger T.O.S./A.U.P. of any reliable web-hosting provider, as most providers like hostgator and other would kick you off once they find warez or illegal stuff, and you need to wait till one day you get caught with serious lawsuits and hell lot of money in defending yourself which you will never be able to do it, every warez webmaster thinks he's inevitable but it takes tracking of only one IP Address to ruin rest of your career.

There are no official techinicans by DD Direct+, you need to search local techinicians who do dish installations.
